"I sent in a photo of the serial number on my frame. Garden winds sent me back two options to pick from, I decided to go with the more expensive one. My last canopy that came with the frame from Menards lasted me 4 years. I take very good care of my things. I sprayed water repellent on before even using it. Plus I take it down if I know strong winds are coming. I was hoping this one will last me just as long.
I received my canopy rather quickly, I spent another $50.00 for water repellent to put on it before I put it on. The day I put it up it doesn't fit, I emailed the company and have yet to here back. I called and was told to email them photos of the one I bought, the old frame serial number and photos of it not fitting. I did all of that and no response. I texted the company and all I was told is that they will inform other customers about the problem. Since Garden Winds wouldn't help, I had to cut of 1 1/2 inches of each end of the poles with a pipe cutter. Which entailed getting off the rubber ends after being on there for four years. Turning the pipe cutter several times on each end then putting the rubber end back on. I did get it to fit but had a lot of work into it in order for me to do that.
Very disappointing since this canopy is so expensive, but I had to make it work since I got no response from the company on what to do. I have kept records of all my texts, and emails to them. We will see if I ever hear from them."
