"I phoned and requested a replacement for the replacement cushion because there is a thin worn spot that I fear will turn into a tear within a few months. Additionally, I sent a picture that was difficult to capture the worn spot, but I was told that it was not a problem according to quality control or some department and my concern was completely overlooked. I requested a new replacement because you have to feel and see it and clearly explained that the picture cannot capture the problem. Nevertheless, I was told that I would have to pay for shipping to send the cushion back. I objected because I have never heard of a company not working with a customer due to something that is not of their doing. I was nice, kind and polite and made it clear that I was not trying to knit pick but feared the cushion would not hold up very long with the thin spot. I spoke with a nice customer service rep, who put her supervisor on the phone and the supervisor raised her voice at me and spoke rudely. Unfortunately I broke down in tears, told her she was rude, for her to have a nice day and hung up. I will never do business with this organization again if this is the kind of service to expect. I plan on sharing my experience with everyone, so they will not have to be treated this way. There was no willingness to make me-- the customer satisfied. "
"The canopy was an exact fit to the original. Though the material is different from the original Roth & Allen, the design structure may last longer than original (became brittle and ripped after 2 yrs).
As for Garden Winds; service was prompt and the merchandise was exactly as described on their web site. The thorough description on their web site left no surprises whether it was the correct replacement."
