I have bought from Gemnation six times over the past 5 years and each and every time have had nothing but exceptional service. I have had to change delivery addresses, have items engraved, had to ship items back for warranty repair, and every time I have received courteous and prompt service. Some customers are impossible to please and I think that the customer in that review is one such person."

"The guys from Gemnation are total scumbags. I spent over $50,000 with them, and they treated me like dirt. There was a miscommunication on their end with the exact watch I wanted, and when I tried to discuss it with them, they basically told me I was stupid and wasting their time. Even if I am stupid, $50,000 should be enough for them to refrain from saying so. The employees are condescending, they interrupt you, and they will do whatever they can to avoid helping you once they have your money. It was a huge pain to exchange the watch, and they made me pay a $500 fee even though it was not my fault. They lied about what the fee was for, first saying it was to change out the part of the watch to make it look like the one I wanted, and when I asked if that wouldn’t make the warranty invalid, they said it was actually to get a new watch but that the one I wanted was $500 more, and when I told them Rolex said the price on that one should be exactly the same, they said it was a convenience fee. By the way, before you make a purchase with them, check with the watch manufacturer to make sure that the warranty will be valid, because a lot of manufacturers do not accept warranties on watches purchased through Gemnation. Rolex doesn’t. I honestly wish I would have spent the extra few thousand dollars and gone through the authorized dealer, because this transaction has left a very sour taste in my mouth."

"I just saw the review of georgehayworth and I have to agree. Shipping was prompt; The order went through flawlessly. I am from London and I even with our lousy pound, Gemnation's prices are still amazing. The watch is everything they said it would be. I bought a gorgeous TAG Heuer and had it laser engraved on the back as a gift for my wife on our 23rd wedding anniversary. I would also continue to buy from Gemnation, and have already sent two friends there. I plan to visit them if I am ever visiting New York, as they show that they make appointments. I am also a bit of a watch nut!"

"Extremely disappointing. Wide selection and great pricing on the website, however this is very misleading and a complete misrepresentation of reality. Items are not in-stock, so it's very likely that you won't get what you want. They price themselves on putting discount prices on the website that they can't fill. I ordered a watch and was told it was not in stock. However, weeks later, I found the watch still posted on the website and they had increased the price? Nothing was done after raising question. Very, very disappointing."
