It's for one thing about delivery approximate, but once I hear the covid like flu symptoms, I am turned off, the bullcrap propoganda with the media, with commercial places, will not wear a mask, the mask does nothing it doesn't do anything says on the packages. population control. to anyone go to a different place and get your appliances.
Grant and blvd doesn't answer their phone so if I ever get an appliance I will go some place else.

"Purchased my entire kitchen appliances from them several years ago and was very pleased. On October 16, I went and purchased a new washer and dryer. I was told that they couldn’t deliver until October 21st. When they delivered on the 21st, the dryer door was shattered. We, of course, refused delivery.
I immediately called the store to get a replacement. I was told on that day that they had plenty of stock but unfortunately they don’t deliver on weekends so the earliest I could get it would be Tuesday, October 25th. I called at 9:00 on Monday, the 24th to set up a delivery time. They,of course, had to call me back. Brianna informed me that they would deliver the new one on Wednesday, October 26th and that I would receive a call Tuesday afternoon to confirm a timeframe.
Never received a call.
Called 9:00 Wednesday morning and spoke to yet another salesperson. That person told me that Anthony or Kelly in delivery would call me back in 10 - 15 minutes. No call.
After 4 hours, I called back and spoke to Kelly in delivery who proceeded to tell me that “someone” from Doylestown was supposed to call me and discuss “options.” She then transferred me to Doylestown.
So now I’m talking to someone in Doylestown who says she doesn’t know why they transferred me to their store and there is no record of a new dryer being “ordered” and was there a convenient time NEXT WEEK for me to schedule delivery.
I have no dryer….washing my clothes and hanging them on my fence to dry…which is impossible in this weather.
Absolutely no one in Gerhard’s has taken responsibility and doesn’t seem in any hurry at all to get me my dryer. It’s a shame…
I like to shop at local family owned businesses instead of big box stores but will never go back to them after this experience."
"Our $14,000 GE monogram range was delivered on 1/11/22. Today I used the griddle for the first time and a fire started under the griddle and flames were emitting out of the vent. Luckily I saw it quickly although it didn’t go out when I turned the griddle off. My husband was able to blow it out. This could’ve been a serious fire if I did not see it quickly and if it had spread. The stainless steel was all blackened under the griddle. I’d like to know how it happened. In addition to this there was a dent on the side of the range when it was delivered. They’re supposed to repair it this week. So far our experience is not good. "
"I'm giving it 2 stars because the delivery people were nice and competent. That's about it.
So I was sold a washer and dryer in September of 2020. The dryer worked great, the washer never functioned properly. The washer leaked and shook so violently that it broke the outlet in my basement. I purchased the extended warranty and had repairmen from Gerhard's come out multiple times (I believe 4 times, but it could have been 3). The last time the repair man told me "your washer is fine, stop calling us".
Well, I requested a new washer at this point. Clearly they couldn't fix it and it wasn't working. It would shake so much that whole machine would spin in circles. I dealt with the service department (who would never actually take my calls to call me back) and one day got an email that a new washer was ready for pickup in Fort Washington. So I had to drive an extra 15 miles, return the old washer and pick up the new one. I could pay for delivery, but after everything I think I should have had the delivery fee waived. I just agreed to pay the fee because I wanted this over with.
I was told the delivery would be 11/17. The day before No one called to tell us a time (like they said they would) so I called and was told they never actually put the delivery through and I'd have to wait until 11/23. I asked if there was any way to speed it up and was told I'd get a call back. No one ever called me back.
So, 11/23 comes and the driver gets there. But the washer was not on the truck. Apparently it got lost in the warehouse. Great, so now I need to wait even longer. I try to call to get help, no one will even speak to me. I needed to talk to a manager at the Ardmore store, but there wasn't one available. Finally, someone from the Doylestown location answered (since I was apparently being bounced between a bunch of different stores even though I called Ardmore) and he was helpful. He emailed someone then called me to tell me it will be here 11/27. The new washer finally arrives and the delivery driver notices the shipping bolts were still on the old washer. Which is why is shook so violently. Had the original repairman noticed this I would have had a working washer since September, my basement outlet wouldn't be damaged and I wouldn't have had to miss time from work to deal with the situation.
Oh, and after all of this time, energy and money I now have to pay to have an electrician fix my outlet you would think they'd offer me some kind of compensation to make it right?
Nope. I got nothing. I'll never use this company again."
"My review similar to others . Refrigerator arrived dented and new door promised . Multiple phone calls with no answer by sales or service. Have to visit in person. No I’m sorry About the dent, sorrywe don’t answer Our phone, sorry you had to come in person. No door ever ordered. Said they would order and call to verify . Again no door no phone call. Next step dispute charge on credit card. A dented refrigerator is not a new refrigerator. Their service earns a zero."
"I had a Bosch kitchen set delivered May 26th. The refrigerator came with a dented doors and the installer scratched the side of the fridge on my counter. The range came with a scratch on the faceplate. I had a very hard time getting anyone to help me resolve these issues. Brian Friedman would not return my multiple emails or phone calls. After speaking with another person I finally got the door and range face ordered and scheduled for install. However the tech knows nothing about fixing the scratches on the side of the fridge left by your installer. When I spoke to the person (Trish I think) she said they could use touch up paint to fix the scratches. I am under the impression now she meant I could do that. The customer service with your company is very poor.
My wife and I purchased our appliances from your store expecting professional service with high quality appliances. Instead we got poor customer service and scratch and dent appliances. I would like someone to get back to me with a plan on resolving the scratches on the side of the fridge caused by your installers."
"Our GE profile induction slide in range was delivered and installed with a major scratch on the inside, several smaller scratches outside, and it was not leveled properly. We have contacted the Malvern store where we bought the appliance four times without the courtesy of a return call to see if we can get these issues resolved. Our next step will be to stop payment on the appliance with our credit card company."

I had to reschedule and they couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Install team was very polite and efficient also wore masks and gloves and treated my home with respect. Great and personalized service! Gerry talked me through my options, reviewed the various features that were available on the models I was considering, and helped me come up with the right choice. Got delivery the next day and installation by a crew that was cognizant of the COVID-19 pandemic, both wearing masks and gloves. Sure, you might save a little by going to a Home Depot or Lowe's. Pay a few extra bucks for the expertise and service. You'll be glad you did!"

"This was our third transaction with Gerhards. We had a salesperson issue on the first sale when we purchased a refrigerator and a freezer. Our second transaction went very smoothly. The third was a purchase of the Bosch dishwasher had a snag. Our previous two dishwashers were hardwired and when the delivery guys arrived the informed me I needed an outlet, a $150 charge. I was not informed by salesperson that Bosch dishwashers are only plugged in. I could have put outlet in myself for a fraction of the charge. You need your staff to inform customers of situations like this. I love your store but I really have to rethink where I make my next appliance purchase."

"Honestly I can't thank them enough Our washer broke right as the stay at home started . We were recommended by a friend and not disappointed. Ian at sales found a washer to fit our needs and Jose who delivered it within 3 days was very knowlegeable of the product. Delivery was perfect, and on time. Could not ask for a better outcome.
