"Brought a Yaesu FT991 on the thanksgiving sale for $1124 that was out of stock for 2 to 4 weeks when I checked out. Checked a few days later and now miraculously it was back in stock. I called to make sure it was going to ship and they now raised the price $300 additional. Said that it was not charged on my credit card as it was out of stock at the time of sale. They told me when I confronted them that they don't charge the credit card till it ships. They led me to believe that I brought a radio and would not email me the receipt until it shipped. I brought a screwdriver antenna and tuner for this radio, however I have no radio unless I want to pay $300 more. This thanksgiving sale was obviously a scam and if I had have realized it at the time I would have brought from HRO who had the same pricing. I went with gigaparts as I have been buying all my gear there. I brought 2 radios and numerous accessories in the last few months alone from them. Really left a bad taste in my mouth as I'm a new general class ham and this was going to be my first HF rig hoping to get on the air before the holidays. Called the manager Steve to try and sort this out and he basically told me to get lost. "

To secure the price offered on our website, at any time, the transaction must complete the checkout process. Placing an item in your cart does not secure the price. If an item is out of stock, checking out still secures the price of the item. You are not charged until the item ships. Once your order completes successfully you will receive an order confirmation from GigaParts with an order confirmation number.

Prices are subject to change at any time on websites. You were apparently shopping during our Black Friday &/or CyberMonday sales. These sale prices were removed at the end of the sale, thus the increase in the price of the product.

We would be glad to assist you with an FT-991. We can get one out the door for you today at the current web price. We will also give you a one time free shipping upgrade to deliver in 2-6 business days. We count you as a valued customer and would be glad to assist you by phone to immediately confirm your order is completed successfully. You are welcome to ask for me.
