"I was a Sucker and spun their "prize" wheel and got a 10% off space. I bought a $126 MFJ item. I tried 3 times to enter the discount code, but was unsuccessful. I guess I made a mistake by purchasing it anyway. It was at 8:30 at night and they were not open. II immediately emailed them and told them what happened. They told me the code was still valid. I called Customer Service today and was basically told that it was too late to do anything because the order was already processed. They don't seem to have a problem reopening the order to charge a "restocking fee".
I should have remembered my experience with them at Hamcation in Orlando last February. I tried to buy a $600 MFJ item and was having trouble with their "computer kiosk". I asked one of their employees for help, but he was too busy BSing with another employee. HRO was happy to take my money. I buy a lot of ham gear and don't need their arrogant attitude."
