"I ordered a new pair of glasses back in April, when they finally arrived I discovered that I couldn't see with them past the bridge of my nose because they had messed up my prescription. I contacted customer service and requested a return which to their credit was a mostly painless experience and this time they requested a picture of my prescription so nothing would happen (hence 2 stars vs 1, I like to be fair and consider all aspects of the experience in my rating).
Well, as the title suggests, after another wait to receive the new pair....they were even WORSE and I could not see anything with the new pair they provided! It's unbelievable that in this market where companies are fighting tooth-and-nail to get one over on the competition that I could hand them a copy of my prescription and they could still mess up this badly. I will not be wasting any further time or energy with this website. "
"If I could give 0 stars, I would. So, because of my prescription, 3 days after I order my glasses, I get an email saying order canceled. Apparently, they do not carry in high definition lenses, even though they are the people I am supposed to order my glasses from. Don’t do it.

I was gonna return the glasses anyway because the frames and lenses were subpar considering the price. I bought better glasses from Zenni, for 1/3 of the price without using my insurance (still waiting for the refund so I can use my policy again on glasses worth keeping).
The kick to the nuggets was when they claimed the item was shipped and arrived in 1-2 business days... despite waiting over a week. Apparently there's a disclaimer if you visit the FAQ section. They can take as long as they want -- up to 14 days to verify and process.... and THEN ship. Yet the shipping time would've been no different even if I had paid nothing.
It's a scam. Don't pay the extra $15 in hopes you'll get your glasses faster. And definitely don't bother with their 'customer service'... they'll blame you for not reading their FAQ section. Empty promises; AVOID."
"I ordered a pair of glasses on 2/4/22 and when I received them the lens would give me a headache. I returned them right away and got another pair with the same negative results. Now I have returned those and ordered another style to replace the bad ones. I had to pay out of pocket for those as well as the new glasses. I have not received the new glasses or my money back on the return. They have $1,000.00 and I have nothing. Can't speak to anyone because all digital now. NO ONE WILL HELP!!!"
"Worst experience with this company. I will stay away from this company and ask my friends and family to stay away from it. I purchased a pair of glasses in December 2021 using my eye insurance. They send me the wrong prescription. After multiple follow-ups, they asked me to return the glasses and said I can use my 2021 insurance benefits if I purchase the replacement within January 2022 which I did. Now I am struggling to convince them to use my insurance which covers the full cost of my prescription. After multiple follow-ups, emails, and chats (they don't have a helpline) they have finally agreed but they will reduce my refund by the amount of discount applied even though my insurance covers the full amount. I would never again deal with this company which made buying eyeglasses such a difficult process and have no sense of customer service."
"I submitted my order on January 15, 2022 I was told my order would be ready to ship in UP TO 8 business days which would be January 27, 2022. As of today January 28, 2022 my order still hasn’t been shipped so I recached out to customer service again through their chat on their webpage (this is my 3rd time reaching out to them since I’ve placed my order) & I’m now being told that my order won’t be shipped until February 7, 2022 due to a “needed item” being out of stock this is my first time hearing anything about anything being out of stock & I just spoke to someone yesterday January 27, 2022 about my order and this was not mentioned at all. I was told I’d receive shipping information by the end of the day 1/27/22 yet I received nothing which is why I reached out again today. After expressing how furious I was about this terrible customer service and lack of communication (they’ve never reached out to me to update me on my order or anything the only communication I’ve had is when I’ve reached out to them for updates) all they had to offer was a refund of my shipping payment of 14.99 which just isn’t acceptable when the glasses cost 349.99. After expressing that wasn’t enough to make up for their mishap I was then told I could cancel my order and get a full refund & take my business elsewhere. If you don’t mind spending lots of money and getting nothing in return or if you don’t mind waiting around with your hands in your pockets then by all means use glasses.com but if you actually are in need of glasses or want good customer service and communication then please I’m begging you to find a different company to use because this is the absolute worst Experience I’ve ever had with any type of online company or online ordering service. 10 out of 10 WOULD NOT recommend!! After dealing with this company I can wholeheartedly say every negative review you see of this company is 100% accurate. They are not verified through the better business bureau who rates them unprofessional & have a average of 1.2 stars out of 5 from customer reviews. Don’t let the prices fool you or **** you in like I did I chose to ignore the reviews because some of the prices were just seemed too good to be true but as they say you pay for what you get and good pricing means nothing If you’ll never receive your product. I never received them so I contacted glasses.com and they apologized and said they were “lost” and would rush me a replacement pair. Hundreds of dollars later and still NO GLASSES! Just email after email requesting additional information. I’m like what the hell, you supposedly already sent my made glasses out but now you don’t have any of my my prescription info? You can’t talk to anyone, the chat reps give you zero help and the emails are just apologies. I requested a refund and funny, no response at all. Ugh! BUYER BEWARE! "
"Glasses.com successfully challenged my worst online shopping experiences. Their outstanding poorest customer service, easily won my trust to treat them the best scam company in the United States.
I am so happy that both agents told me the truth — they only canceled my order but not all the other Black Friday orders. So it was my fault that patiently waiting my glasses to come.
But I got the excellent solution from them - pay full price to reorder my glasses.
I love this company! They chat so hard to play with you, to show you a totally different world, to teach you a real good lesson —
You are not evil enough as them that’s why you need a full price glasses from them!!

"I was skeptical about ordering but decided to do so anyway. I should have trusted my gut, because the customer service is terrible! You don't talk with anyone you have to chat with a person which is hard to get the issue across. I went through all the selections and paid. A few days later I received another receipt to download but none of my lens treatment selections were applied but all the charges remained the same. I contacted them and of course told them the two receipts conflicted each other and wanted to know why. No answer was giving but she told me to return them and she was emailing a shipping label to me but did not. I later called back to see if I would get any other information...so to sum up the rest they have terrible customer service and do not build your order as you select."
"Worst company to order prescription glasses from. I placed an order, sent my prescription in the email and got charged on the same day but since then no reply what so ever. I checked my account and it says "waiting for the prescription" (FYI: Prescription was sent more than 8 days ago :) ). I followed up and realized that no one even cared to look at my prescription and start preparing my order. But yes of course I was charged full amount on the very first day. Anyways long story short, its been more than 15 days and still glasses aren't done yet. Still need to wait more and then wait for the shipment to arrive. DON'T WASTE your time..there are better, faster and more efficient companies for prescription glasses. I will NEVER EVER order from them again....thank you glasses.com for nothing."
