"Let me start out by saying there's no confusion, GLYDE is flat out Fraud, bad business practice, uninformative and shady....
I purchased an iPhone 4 from Glyde for $50.72. Obviously I authorized Glyde to charge/hold this amount. What Glyde doesn't tell you is that if the shipping/selling process takes 7 days then they'll put another hold on the same amount due, even if they still have a hold on the original amount. Currently Glyde has a hold for $101.44 or basically twice the amount I authorized. When I complaint to Glyde the answer I got was that "hopefully" my bank would release one of the holds (the older one). The $101.44 has been held for 3 days now. Basically Glyde is saying, not our problem.
BEWARE if you purchase from Glyde they could end up holding double the amount authorized for an unspecificied amount of time. "
"For those of you who are just looking into Glyde, it's a site that has a selling side, and a buying side. They buy peoples phones, put that phone on their website, and then when someone buys the phone, they send a shipping package kit to the person who they bought the phone from. That person then sends the package to the buyer. I was on the buying side. I have been looking everywhere for a good price on a iPhone 6. I actually bought a 126 GB gold phone on Ebay for a good price, but when I got it, the wifi connection was very weak. I sent it back and started my searching process again. I noticed how much cheaper phones on Glyde were! I was very interested, and decided if the phone I got wasn't good, I will send it back. I got a used iPhone 6 128 GB silver in excellent condition for at least $50 cheaper than on Ebay. About $100 cheaper than Amazon. It took awhile for the phone to come. I ordered the phone on October 6th. I received it today, the 15th. If you don't mind waiting to save money, it's worth it. The phone really is in excellent condition. Just a few scuffs on the sides, no scratches on the screen, no dents or cracks. It has the right GB memory. The wifi also has a strong connection. I have not had to contact the customer service. Overall I am very satisfied. I was able to save a lot of money and not have to settle for something I didn't want. "
"One of the most unpleasant experiences I have had selling used devices. Buyer returned my item, which would have been fine except they returned it with an iCloud account associated with device that locked me out from using or resellling my iPhone. Glude customer service couldn't have given less of a care, told me it was my problem and mine alone, and it was me who ended up spending valuable time in an Apple Store to restore my own access to the perfect phone I shipped but came back to me unusable. 5. What phone number can we reach you at, if we need to speak with you?
What kind of company is this... I honestly thought their email was a joke..
