"Everything worked as advertised."
"Selling my iPhone through Glyde was easy and fast. I packed my phone in the supplied box and dropped it off to be delivered to the buyer. Within a few days I had my money and it was enough to buy myself an Apple Watch. I am pleased at how easy and efficient the process was. I also thought I received a fair price for doing little work to get my phone sold. "
"The phone they sent me had a Gmail LOCKOUT even after the reset. We emailed back and forth over several days. (Well I cant wait that long, and so I payed a professional 70 bucks to fix it and do what Glyde couldnt do... GIVE ME A WORKING PHONE.) After a few days they said they would send me a box to return my now working phone... yeah... DONT WASTE your time or money with this company. I was told by the phone professional that the company swappa is way better!"
"At first I chose the market price suggested to me by Glyde, and my iPod didn't sell for a while. A few weeks later I got an email saying I should readjust the price, so I chose one that was even lower than "market price". Once I did that, the new "market price" was my price, and my iPod sold very quickly. Hmm.
The shipping kit arrived and I packed up the iPod and charger, and put it in the mail. The slowest part was waiting for USPS to deliver the package, but once my buyer got it, he approved it right away rather than wait the 3 days he was allowed. So there are some good people on Glyde for sure.
Two minor annoyances. When I was packing up the iPod into the box, I was unsure if I should include the big, bulky wall block along with the cord. You must include the charger if you want to sell for a reasonable price on Glyde, but does this include the wall block? Customer service (via email only) was slow to get back to me, but luckily I had already shipped everything and included the block.
And finally, when I was choosing a condition to describe my iPod to sell, I thought it was missing one descriptor that would be very important: Does the device function as the type of thing it is supposed to? Does the iPod play music, does the phone act as a fully functioning phone? Prices are basically standardized according to condition with no write-in comments, but I would have definitely appreciated being able to confirm this condition of my device. To determine "working condition", the conditions are this:
Device turns on
Display has no dead or damaged pixels
Device holds charge for multiple hours
All buttons work properly
All of this might still be true of an iPod that couldn't play music or a phone that for whatever reason was damaged internally and couldn't make calls. I'm sure most casual buyers would be disappointed to receive a device that didn't fulfill this important function without fair warning.
But overall I was satisfied with the transaction. My older device was still worth a decent amount of money. I was impressed with the price I was able to receive and happy my iPod, which was secondhand to me, could go on to another home. I would definitely recommend Glyde to friends."
"Easy Peezy!! A company to trust!!"
"Glyde did a great job for me to sell my product so I can get some money. Thank you so much! :)"
"We successfully used glyde for a couple of years now. But, out of the last 6 phones we've tried to order, we have exactly 1 working phone. We need 2 phones.
We even paid extra for the 6th phone for "fast shipping." It was supposed to arrive 4-5 days after ordering, but according to the tracking number, 6 days later it hasn't even shipped yet. So, 6 orders, 1 phone. It is also very slow - it takes about 2 weeks for each deal to fall through. "
"
My phone sold in one day at my asking price. The process was exactly what was advertised and it was completed exactly the way it was advertised. The only time I had to get out of my chair was to take the phone to the post office. It can't get any better than that."
"I have bought 3 phones on glyde, and have sold 2 of them using glyde when I upgraded. It is an easy process. You get way more if you include the charger. They did offer the best resell price! "
"I found Glyde on an internet search. They pay better than most so I decided to give it a shot. Everything went fine until the buyer wanted to return the item, stating that the charger was not charging the phone. Well, the charger was brand new, and in a 24 hr period the phone would not have stayed at 41%, it would have dropped. So, buyers have learned that all they have to do is request return service and Glyde will begin "negotiations" with the seller usually resulting in a reduction in price. If you have the time, you may get more for your phone on ebay and the sales are final. If Glyde could offer either a bit more money or a sales final option it would be great."
"Second time using and NO issues. Very good communications all the way through the process. Great job!"
"If your thinking about using this company and its service think again. They have one one way of communicating with you and that email. I sent a buyer my phone in great condition on the 10April 2016 it arrived to him/her on the on the 18 April 2016. Buyer indicated it was not as described. Glyde.com wrote me an email stating that the camera wasn't working and the buyer said it was a att phone. First EVERYTHING was working on that phone and I know it was from TMobile because that's the service I had. Short story is here it is the 27 April 2016 and still no funds or phone. Crappy fake company that has no interest in problem resolving. Stay away from Glyde.com"
"I've used Glyde a total of 4 times. The first two times, I sold items, the shipping kits arrived quickly, and I put the items on the way to their buyers. Similarly, I made a purchase from them with no issue and got my game in about 10-12 days.
However, I recently sold an item, and the shipping kit had not arrived in a week. A second one that was supposedly sent has also not showed up. Which means, I haven't been able to send an item that was sold over 2 weeks ago, and also means there's a buyer waiting 14 days for an item that hasn't shipped.
Will update rating if anything changes, but as it stands, I can't recommend a service that has botched 1/3 of my sales."
"Just completed my first sale. So far so good. Would prefer more money but the ease of use seems to make up for it since I don't have the time or patience to sell on my own. "
"I got an iPhone 5C at the beginning of March. The seller failed to remove the apple ID from their phone, so I asked to have it returned after a week of having the dead weight. I got the return package, but the mail lady didn't take it from my mailbox because our flag broke off. I didn't know that there was a 48 hour window because I had no access to my email. I sent it in the mail, only to come home and find out that it was too late. I think there may be a chance that I could never get my phone back and be screwed out of 140 dollars. I do not recommend using this website when buying a phone. Try something else, just not this website."
