"I travel for a living, and often need mail order parts in different parts of the country. If I had to list every address I ever visited with my credit card company, I wouldn't get credit anywhere. The company refused to ship to a different shipping address that billing address. Maybe that's a good thing, based on some of the reviews on this site. I found the same hd on another site 5 min later who had no problem taking the order. I'll never order from GoGo again even when I am at home."

"While the order arrived fast and as ordered, the company itself leaves your with a bit to be desired. Customer service phone number is only available for a 4 hour window (10:00AM - 2:00PM PST). My order was placed during the day at my full time job, where access to a printer is limited, so I neglected to print a receipt as I figured it'd be emailed to me, which it wasn't. Customer services were emailed, and took almost 2 days to respond about my order. I was beginning to worry. They have an excellent selection of items, but are a bit lacking in the service and "person" area of a business."

"I was a really hesitant to use these guys, because of some of their rating on here. But, nobody else had the Hard Drive that I wanted...so I took a chance. So, I ordered my drive (Fedex overnight) at around 11am and I got it the next morning! I have it installed and it works beautifully. My only wish is that they were more available for tech support, as I had an issue installing the drive. Luckily, Fujitsu had impeccable support and I got it installed without them. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would use them again if I found myself in a pinch.

"I ordered a barebones system. The order arrived well packed via UPS within a reasonable timeframe. I was a little surprised it did not come assembled, but this was not an issue. The only negative was the mainboard arrived without the installation disk which I was able to get via the internet from the manufacturer. (Very rapid/friendly support from mainboard maker SYNTAX!!!) Overall satisfaction: 80%."

"I recently placed an order for an ATI Radeon 9500 pro with gogocity.com and it took them 3 days to tell me they no longer carry the item yet they still charged my credit card. Additionally, I have tried for several days to no avail to get someone to refund my credit card and have received no response. Avoid like the plague. Still waiting on my refund."

"WARNING! BEWARE! It's one thing to substitute items with an item that is essentially the same (with the permission of the buyer, which GooGoo didn't get from me), but this outfit had the incredible audacity to actually invoice (IDENTIFY) the bogus ram they sent me with a unique Samsung part # (module part #, not chip part #). A mistake? Yeah, sure - you'd have to be brain-dead to believe that. I'll bet they make this "mistake" a lot.

They threw this ram in an envelope and slapped all of 83 cents postage on it and sent USPS. I guess it's some sort of testament to the Post Ofiice at least in this case that this ram made it so much as down the block without being squashed. But of course they demanded that I RMA this crap by Fedex or UPS insured, so it cost me over $7.00 to send it back. Haven't received a refund yet - I'm sure that's just gonna be an extension to this annoying hassle.

Took me four days to initially get a tracking # from these people, after which they finally admitted that there WAS no tracking #, since they had sent the order through the mail. Also told me they had shipped the package on a certain date, which wasn't true, as it turned out - again, by their own admission. And that index on their site that lulls the customer into thinking they've got it together customer-service-wise? No way, babe.

I write this to try to disuade other uninitiated folks from suffering through the pain of doing business with this bunch of clowns, but it won't stop here with me. I plan on filing complaints with the Federal Trade Commission, PayPal (whom I paid through), and every other agency/authority I can scour up. And if enough people do this, maybe the buying public at large will come to suspect - like me - that GooGoo's "mistakes" could have easily been prevented.

"I purchased a motherboard from them, a SYNTAX AMD SV266A KT266A, it posts, but refuses to boot off of bootable hard drives with OSes installed that boot fine in other machines. GOGOCITY will not accept any returns, saying that I have to contact the manufacturer. Ok, but that's the last time I'm ordering from them."

"I ordered two items, the first one being a stick of Crucial 512MB DDR400 PC3200 RAM, which was correct and actually works fine, but besides that, this company is nothing but lies. I ordered a Radeon 9600 Pro from their site and it clearly showed in the picture an original ATI board Radeon 9600 Pro, but i instead recieved a cheaper 2nd party Sapphire Radeon 9600 Pro Atlantis. But before I get into that, I have to comment on their shipping process. They charged me 6.99 for shipping, and they only shipped it by USPS, without even bothering to give me a tracking number. They also took 5 days before they even shipped it out and it took 2 more days for it to arrive, which was very irritating since the RAM and the video card were the only two things i needed to finish the construction of my comp. Anyways, the site mentioned NOTHING about sapphire, it was nowhere in the product description or title or anywhere at all! The "Direct Product Link" linked to the ATI website! I was a bit suspicious of the cheap price of their 9600 pro, $150, when the next cheapest price on pricewatch was around 170, but i trusted them, since i trusted the picture. Big mistake. The wrong card came and i called them up and told them they made a mistake. Their customer service sucks horribly, i had to call about 24 times over the course of 3 hours before the line stopped being busy. Afterwards, some woman, whose name i didn't bother to ask because i was so angry, checked my RMA note and told me that i got what i ordered, that the product did not have to match the box and some BS about how the picture was just a guide. I told them they were misleading thieves with their false advertising, but then i didn't give up there, knowing i was right. Fortunately i live within an hour drive of the gogocity.com warehouse, so i went down their in person, making sure to print out the page which showed their misleading picture. Upon arriving at the headquarters, I saw their building which was not even labeled with their name, it infact seems that they share a warehouse with other companies, the main one being Private Label PC. The secretary for Private Label PC heard me out and tried to give me some BS (these people must've gone through BS training) about how i didn't have to get that exact box as long as the product was correct, but i pointed out that it WASN'T correct. The secretary walked back and forth between her desk at the front and somewhere in the back where some authority of gogocity's was, but i never got to meet them face to face, i figured probably because the secretary could stall while he/she thought up of some BS. Initially i asked for an exchange for the proper product, but they refused, so i asked for a refund, and after about 20 minutes, the gogocity complied, but was going to charge me a 15% restocking fee. Ludicrous! I was not only lied to, but had to drive all the way down to even have a chance of righting my order, and they want to charge me a restocking fee?? I vehemently refused it and threatened to report them to Consumer Affairs for lying to customers. Finally after about 30 more minutes, i was given a full refund, guaranteed by a printed piece of paper that was signed by someone named E.R. I knew they were trying to con me or something because it wasn't even stamped, so i asked for a stamp and more time passed before i finally got the piece of paper back, stamped. I went home, stopped by Best Buy, and spent some extra money getting the REAL card, which fortunately was in an open box, so i got 10% off the price, very lucky. Right now if you go check on the gogocity.com site, and search for Radeon 9600 Pro, it now properly identifies between Sapphire and the Retail cards, something they should've done before their attempt to con me. I guess they were afraid of my threat of reporting them. I still wouldn't trust gogocity.com though, i feel they still have a few more tricks up their sleeve to rip off people. Overall... Slow shipping, bad customer support, false advertising... everything that you should avoid when you order computer parts online."

"The prices were fair and shipping was fairly quick. My complaint is that I ordered a ATI Radeon 9600 Pro video card thinking it was made by ATI because they showed an ATI box on the item page along a direct product link to the ATI website, but instead i received a Sapphire Radeon 9600 Pro Atlantis which was deceptive because there is NO indication on the website or the invoice about it being a Sapphire card. I also had to email them for a tracking number, but they responded promptly. I decided to keep the Sapphire card since it is essentially the same card as the ATI Radeon 9600 pro."

"I tell you what, I've ordered computer parts from just about every site on Pricewatch and GogoCity is one of my all time favorite. They have good status info, great shipping times, and a LOT of products. (my other all time fav is buy.com)
My only issue with both them and buy.com is price. Theyre rarely the cheapest, but I dont mind paying a little extra for the speedy service!

"Got a Snickers? Ordered CDRW drive and DVD drive for system on the 10th. Credit card billed dang near before I clicked the [Order] button. Today's the 21st... no drives, no tracking#, no phone# to reach DoDo Chity, no email address to reach DoDo... all I've got is the rest of my life to wait for drives. All I can do I dispute charge. Cool. I hope they send the drives after the dispute is settled and I get my money back. That's the only way DoDo will learn."
