"I have been on seven tours with Go Ahead. They are Thailand, South America, Russia, Australia and New Zealand, China, Kenya Safari , and Egypt. I have enjoyed every one, but my top three favorites are Kenya Safari, Egypt, and Thailand. Between looking through the brochure I receive in the mail and going online I find just the trip I want to take . I always call Go Ahead to book my trips. I like the personal contact of speaking to a real live person. Since I am a single traveler I may have some question or concern that I don't find the answers to on line and they are more than happy to answers these. I have enjoyed every trip I have been on with Go Ahead and always recommend them to everyone whom I talk to about traveling. I work in a public library so I do have many conversations with patrons looking for travel books. I am looking forward to my next trip with go Ahead next May which will be Norway, Finland, Denmark, and Sweden"

Katia's knowledge and insight of Rome and surrounding sights was second to none. Katia worked diligently to arrange events and and answer questions that were posed to her. "My husband and I went on the tour to Venice, Florence, and Rome. The entire trip was very good, but the best part of our package was our tour director. He was extremely helpful, every single day. He helped with all of the tour arrangements, but he was also always available for questions and suggestions on places to go to visit/eat. It was so great to know we didn't have to worry about anything -- and could even get advice on things that were not part of our package. Go Ahead Tours arranged for very nice hotel accommodations and the included meals were very good. We went on several of the excursions they offered, and always had a good experience. The travel arrangements were consistently comfortable, and we never felt like we were rushed, or that we were wasting time. I recommend this trip to anyone planning a visit to Italy."

"The tour of the British Isles was super. With the experience that is behind the GoAhead family we saw key sites and had fabulous venues. This was indeed a taster, but every venue was filled with wonderful smells and sites and sounds. I must say the trip over the pond was harrowing, but GoAhead's emergency contingency had my back the entire time. I was super impressed. Travelers on GoAhead always have a spirit of adventure and the guides are superior. One feels well taken care of. Would have loved more time in a London, but next time. If I had one suggestion it would be that customer service be more available via the phone. Often times hold times are extremely long and calls are not returned until the next day. Otherwise, once the tour begins,all are taken care of and a true adventure begins. "

"The trip we took was the first time on a scheduled tour. The overall experience from the time I first spoke to their office all the way thru to the end of the trip was fantastic. The office staff was very easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable about the whole process. Our tour guide, Linda, was phenomenal in every aspect of her job. "We took 1 trip with EF (the parent company) to northern Italy with a student group and it was a wonderful experience. Our other tours were with Go Ahead: Ireland; and the Alpine countries. The tours were extremely well organized and the tours guides exceptional. Our last guide was professor from Berlin who spoke 8 languages and gave a geopolitical history of the areas we visited and had wonderful advice on local sites for dining and fun! The guides really went the extra mile to ensure we were well informed and enjoyed ourselves. We found the hotels clean and comfortable with excellent food and in great locations. Many excursions were included in the price and there were a lot of choices for paid excursions which covered a variety of personal preferences. We are traveling again with Go Ahead this fall and already have another destination for the following year. In addition, the motor coaches used to transport us were very new, clean, quiet, and comfortable. We have been extremely pleased with this company."

"My last trip with GoAhead was to Vienna, Budapest and Prague. I have to say that Budapest was a real delight, a beautiful city, reasonably priced and less touristy than other cities, easy to get around. I think if there was a Budapest city stay I would go for it. The trip was fast paced with many wonderful experiences packed into the 10 days. Loved it!"

"The tour was led by a splendidly qualified, intelligent, articulate, humorous man; he was patient and balanced in addressing issues or answering questions. The sites were fine, and well explicated by the guide. Accommodations were good, though evening meals tended to be in huge spaces with swirling crowds and high noise level.
Air transportation, however, was substandard and, frankly, would be a reason NOT to use GoAhead Tours in the future. "
