"The trip was very well-planned, accommodations were generally excellent, and so were the guides. Your assistants on the phone/computer before we left went out of their way to be helpful. We were able to get a quick but excellent view of some of the most outstanding places in South America.
I have one concern: I used my ATM once at a bank in Rio, and when I got home I found someone had taken nearly $4,000 out of my account with 11 withdrawals of $350 a time. Fortunately my bank closed the account. Tourists should be warned to be very careful where they get cash. "

"Overall the tour was, as always, interesting and informative. My one problem was in Copenhagen, the first leg of the trip. The weather was inclement and we had to get around on our own. That's unacceptable, as we were not exactly located near public transportation. On my other tours we always had the bus or hotel transportation at our disposal, not this time. The hotels they pick are very comfortable with breakfast daily and they offer group dinners on several nights(giving us an opportunity to explore on our own). "The scenery in the Alps is breath taking. It is beautiful to be looking up at the mountains and a joy to ascend Mt.Pilatus in sunshine, Mt. Titlus to be engulfed in snow and Mt.Blanc to enjoy the coolness. Meeting Belgium students in the gondola and exchanging a few French words and taking pictures was a special moment. Lake Como offered a visit to 2 lakeside towns,a tour of a gorgeous villa, and a boat ride to Bellagio for a delightful dinner after the best shopping of the trip. Look for silk, and jewelry. Experiencing the twisting roads in a bus is a thrill. Train ride through the Alps from Italy to San Moritz is a photographers delight. Lucerne is a great walking city with a river in the middle. There is history, wonderful architecture, churches, music, and just no end to the fun. All of this is enhanced by the best guide I have ever experienced. He enabled us to make the most of every minute at each stop and on the bus he shared history, travel tips, music of the region and a taste of specialties of the area. It was spring of 2011 that the trip was made and it remains vivid in my memory.

"My recent tour of Kenya and Tanzania was an absolutely incredible experience. The beautiful plains of Africa filled with countless wildlife of every major species was a sight I will remember always. The guide/drivers were very knowledgeable about the environment and animals since they had degrees in Wildlife Conservation and Management. Meeting the Maasai tribal members and learning about their culture was very interesting and memorable. An excellent tour since this is how the wild animals should be viewed rather than in zoos."
