"Costa Rica is truly a nature lover's paradise. From watching a sea turtle lay her eggs on the beach in Tortuguera, to walking on top of the rainforest canopy in Monteverde, observing Arenal Volcano (only 10% of visitors really see Arenal), boating on all the magnificent lakes, getting tossed about in the Pacific Ocean and last but not least observing a mother humpback whale and her baby, the trip exceeded all my expectations. Add to that to all the birds, animals and plants that we saw. The itinerary was terrific. We walked our buns off---logged 10 miles one day!!!! Our guide, Guillermo, was so passionate about his country, it was infectious. And our bus driver, Freddie, was fearless. Add to that 16 intrepid travelers who bonded immediately! Put it all together and you get perfection."

"From start to finish this was one of our favorite trips. The Go Ahead itinerary was a perfect introduction to this amazing country. The scenery, culture, food, history and amazing people of Greece made us fall in love with the country. We loved the islands with their picturesque architecture and sea vistas. Our favorite was Mykonos, but most of our group chose Santorini. We loved the tours of Delos and Akrotiri. Seeing how advanced the Greek culture was so long ago was fascinating. My husband’s comments to everyone about the trip is, “Did I mention how great the food was?” Our tour director Christiana was amazing. She was so helpful, knowledgeable, and fun! This was a last minute decision for us when our original country was not open due to COVID, and everyone at Go Ahead made it happen flawlessly."

They offered filtered water but I still had issues with it. Wish I’d had advanced warning to by sufficient quantities before getting on the boat. "

The reps at go ahead tours don’t care about your money or problems you have with their financial department and they keep the financial department phone number secret so you can’t call directly. Some of the reps are rude. Be careful of this company, they only want your money. Good luck getting a refund from them! And that’s before the tour. You should only get billed once - not double billed. "

"Since pandemic, the staff isn't there. I use to wait 5-10 min to talk with someone. Called in june and it was a 30min wait. Got my flight info today and it isn't wait I arranged. I have been on hold greater than one hour. That's a bit ridiculous. I feel like the people not booking a new trip are at the bottom of the pile for answering. The chat feature is no help. After this trip, will not book again until everything is back to normal. "

"This is my second EF Go Ahead tour! Traveling with EF Go Ahead takes the stress out of planning all the things when you are in a new place. We got to see everything from sloths and monkeys in Tortuguero to Costa Rican folklore dances in San Jose.
