"I shipped 13 boxes of personal effects from Toronto to Mountain View CA. Navis picked them up from inside my house and delivered them inside an apartment in Mountain View. Navis handled all the interactions with US customs. The boxes were not damaged in any way and there were no issues with US customs. My interactions with Navis were all by email and telephone. The Navis person (Bernice) was professional, polite, patient and helpful. I am 100% satisfied."
"I have used Navis Pack now for shipping several paintings. ALL arrived in PERFECT condition. The recipients were all over the country and they stated that when they received the paintings, they were packed rock solid like a fort. So there was no chance of damage. This last time I shipped a painting to a friend's mom and asked if there was any chance of it making it in time for the woman's 78th birthday 2 days from then. Originally they were going to ship it out in 2-3 days. They not only packaged it up that very day and got it out with UPS but she received it THE NEXT DAY!!! EARLY for her birthday. In a hard year, she received something that made her soooo happy. I cannot thank Navis enough not only for doing a great job packing things so they arrive undamaged, but in their amazing customer service! I will ship all my precious items with them from now on!"
"Navis quoted me a price, I paid it and the vendor for the equipment that I purchased. Then once they received the equipment, they held on to it and told me it would be double the original price if I wanted it because they "miscalculated the original price". Stuck between a rock and a hard place because I had already paid the original vendor and passed up on other equipment, I reluctantly paid the additional shipping cost.
The shipment was 2 days late from the original planned date. When the shipment arrived, they put it on the wrong truck and couldn't get it off. So they had to reschedule for another day. When the package was finally delivered, boxes that clearly said "Fragile Handle With Care" were crushed and the crate had a hole in it, as if it was kicked in. When I opened the crate, I could see that the equipment I had ordered had fallen through the crate (there was no way of knowing until it was opened). And now they are making me jump through a million hoops to get this rectified, while I'm sitting in my office with $19,000+ invested in what amounts to nothing more than paperweights. "
"Package lost by UPS, found and delivered 10 days later than original. Packaged Internally good, even though cardboard exterior was somewhat damaged inside remained secure. Communications with sender was a little poor - took many calls to determine what had happened but Ross did well in verifying its status. Thank you."
