"I am very sad that the Springfield store in closing :( Gordman’s is one of my favorite stores. This time, it was a little dirty with all the liquidation sales going on. It still wasn’t too crowded. Prices were marked down, but it was a little confusing on some items what prices were. One shirt I wanted didn’t have a price tag. My cashier was a little spaced out too and threw away one of the hangers I wanted to keep. But, overall, it was still a good experience."

A store associate told me they were just informed this week and all employees were stressed about the sudden loss of their jobs and the increased busyness due to closing sales. Associates were unmotivated to help and willing to opening discuss their negative feedback about the store closing."

"My experience at gordmans was overall wonderful. There were some problems but I managed to solve them. The problem I experienced was when I asked the person walking around the store restocking the merchandise where I could find a plain black shirt and she told me she didn’t know because everything was basically scattered."

"A very poor level of associates for help or checking out. 2 were trying to check out customers while the line kept getting longer. A third (and only other associate I saw in about 90 minutes) was riding around playing on a shopping cart while the other 2 were getting slammed with customers. She finally came up to help checkout. Seriously need more help on the floor to help customers, stick, straighten, and be available to help checkout when needed. Not the 1st time we've had this experience. Also, credit card was closed for lack of use (I did live out of town). Now that I've moved into town, will shop there more often. Irritated my card was closed without warning, and dont want my credit pulled for a card I already had."
