"I paid 96 dollars to get this done so I didn't have to drive an hour and a half. They kept sending the forms back even when all my documents are there. They didn't tell me why it kept getting sent back to me. I called and tried to get help and they were no use. I requested my money back since they didn't do what they said they were going to do. They would not give my money back for a service I did NOT receive. I would NOT recommend using this!!! It is a waste of your money and time!"
"I tried to cancel this the same day I paid for it. I allowed my son to do this but it was in one of my charge cards. Once I tried to cancel the order, the nastiness began. You can clearly hear lots of telephone operators in the background, which out me in high alert. Sounds like a telemarketing scam. I was told I couldn't cancel the order, even though it was my credit card. Since my son works two jobs and had already left for work, they couldn't talk to him right then. He called them when he got home from work. Once he wad asked why he didn't want it, and he told them it wasn't any of their business, that he just wanted his mom to be able to cancel the charge, the big trouble began. He didn't want this. I simply want my account credited. You can't get past the customer service person to talk to a superior, which is another red flag. Please, everyone, save your money. Avoid this fly by night company. Go directly to SSC office near you."
"not 5 minutes after ending the process for the forms to get a copy of my social security card I was able to find my social security card. I immediately called GovSimplified and tried to cancel the entire application process. Since an email had already been sent to my email address I was told that the transaction was final. It turns out that if I had went to the actual Government office that there would not have been any fees and that the money paid is entirely for the opportunity to fill out the form online w/GovSimplified.
what a joke. in this rating service they even ask about your satisfaction w/returning a product for refund.
the person at GovSimplified who took my call was also very unhelpful.

"Hi, I used this site thinking it wold be fast and easy! But they want to take your money very fast!! A support person helped me fill out the form he said i'll get a package in the mail i waited i got nothing. I called them a few days late and they said my case was not processed due to my address, I said ok it wasn't processed then just give me my money back. But the lady said no it has passed 7 days i can't (mind you i could not call on the weekends). And they made an error in writing my address. so i'm out of $100 :( Just go to the social its better it's free!!!! Also with govsimplified they ask you to send your passport and original documents in the mail I would not risk that!! and it still takes 14 days to get your social... "

"This is the worst experience I ever had in doing an online transaction. I was made to believe that this company would help me save time to go to the Social Security office only to find out it will not. All the advertisements they posted online are deceiving. After I paid they told me I still need to go to the SS office. I only paid for the form and they will not refund me for it. I spoke with the representative but was not accommodated and was not told that there was a 7-day limit to collect a refund. That seven days did not include the time you filed a complaint for refund. The seven day is when you get to talk to them and did not consider that you already tried to claim within the seven day period (that again was not very explicit on the website). I will write to Consumer Review about this experience and I will dispute the payment. If I need to go to court for this I will. I just need to put a stop to companies like this. May God bless the souls of the people who run and work for companies like this.
I posted my complaint on their website and a day after they sent me a full refund which I deserve because government forms are free and if they will not do what they advertise on their website then they should not charge at all. Be careful people."
"I went on line thinking I could get a replacement SS card faster than going into the agency, but after completing the form I realized I had to mail in original copies of vital information which I didn't feel comfortable doing. I decided to just take that information to the local office instead. They said they never charge and that I didn't feel out their form on line. I didn't realize "Govsimplified" was a third party company at the time ifcompleted the application. I contacted Govsimplified within 12 hours to cancel and they said I should have cancelled within one hour. After I voiced my dismay, a rep called me back within 5 minutes and said they would refund me 1/2 of my $37.00. It is not the money I am concerned about ,but I did give them my SSAN, address, email, etc. I contacted all the major credit bureaus, my bank, and my credit card company to alert them that I may have compromised my identity. The SSA told me I had probably been scammed as they would never charge anything. "
"My husband thought he was talking to US IRS. The customer service rep. continued to let him believe that until he got the payment. After my husband shared with me the info they gave him. I realized what happened and called for a refund. They only refunded half of the charge! You can only get a full refund within one hour of payment. I called the same business day. Four hours later."

"I paid for instant service (under 60 minutes) and had the new EIN for father's estate in about 15 mins. But it cost @197 …this is robbery. Even the next day rate is wayyyyy excessive. But had to have the EIN quickly due to situation.
Good business opportunity for someone to do same work and undercut these prices."
