"I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews for Grab a Gun. I placed an order yesterday morning around 10am eastern time. My local FFL dealer contacted me at 1 PM with news that my Canik TP9SFX with Vortex Viper red dot was already in! Not only did they provide me with the lowest price I could find. Only $7 for shipping and got an overnight shipment! Wveryone needs to understand that Grab a Gun is a computer based company with ZERO warehouse space. They find the best deals online and provide us with those deals. I will 10000000000000% order with them again! Thank you for a great buying experience!"
"Horrible communication. No tracing number for order. After 10 day sent email that I was doing a stop payment. Still have not heard from them. Checking with FedEx item was delivered to retailer and now they will not release item after 20+ days. Save yourself the headache and order from Palmetto State Armory."
"I just received the rifle that I ordered and once I opened the box I found that the rifle was broken or non functioning and the stock had 5 bad spots. I have tried to work with an employee named Chad and his response is that because I did the transfer that they will not correct the issues. So basically their policy is that they can sell you a broke and damage product and do nothing to correct the issue. NO EXCANGE or NO REFUND??????? Unbelievable response !!! For a company to be selling new products and don't care how they are delivered is beyond irresponsible. "
"I'm fortunate that I can pick up my ‘new tool’ purchases at the GAG storefront in DFW. While it's always interesting to go into a gun store, even with all of us are there at GAG specifically to pick up said 'new tool' the atmosphere is a bit quiet and kind of tight feeling.
Why, compared to a general retailer, I don't know. However, the GAG staff themselves are always cordial, acknowledge everyone who enters, answer any & all questions, and perform their jobs very efficiently.
Thanks, Gents! Keep up the good work!"
"I've never had a bad experience. I've purchased many items from them over the years. I will continue to do so in the future. I will state, Grabagun will not price anyone competor's online prices. So please shop around first."
"Ordered a Colt M4 that was advertised with a vertical handle on their website. Opened box in front of my FFL. No handle on gun or in box. Contacted Grabagun. An individual named Brandon informed me that because I accepted the rifle and took it home that I would now have to go through the laborious process of contacting Colt. Really. Just send me the vertical handle and maintain your credibility. Very disappointed. "
“Sorry to hear about the missing handle. If we had access to spare handles we would definitely send you one. But we don't. In all of retail, a seller (be it Target, Amazon, or GrabAGun) very rarely has spare parts on hand to ship directly to a customer. Manufacturers do. Manufacturers are also the ones that left it out in the first place. That being said, we understand it's not a great experience to receive anything that's missing a part. We're very sorry that you had to experience such a thing and we will speak with Brandon to make sure he can explain things in a more compassionate and understanding way going forward. ”
"I am really happy with my first three transactions with Grabagun, having received a Savage Impulse Rifle, Mossberg 12 ga, and a Smith and Wesson AR-22lr. I am quite satisfied with everything, however, my savage rifle arrived with shoddy packaging, and the barrel poked through the end of the packaging, receiving a dent on the barrel end and some scratching along the shaft of the barrel. It isn't pleasing to receive a brand-new rifle with scratches on it, and I am awaiting a response from Grabagun to ameliorate this unfortunate mistake and damage of the gun I purchased."
"Canceled part of my order because it was "out of stock". Item was back in stock less than a week later and the price had been raised by $5. Very poor customer service. "
"Grab A Gun has really decent prices, and some greater deals at times. Non-Gun orders Ship quick and Guns come in pretty quick as well. I'm close enough to their Coppel Store, Picking up is easy and quick as well. The only thing that would make things better would be some weekend hours, but even without those, it's convenient enough to me. I will be recommending it to folks I know who buy firearms and accessories."
"LOVE GRABAGUN. PERIOD. THEY ALWAYS HAVE THE HANDGUN I'M LOOKING FOR AND ALSO GIVE ME A QUOTE WHICH TAKE A FEW BUCKS OFF THE GUN. THREE DAY SHIP TO MY FFL AFTER PROCESSING. HAPPY."
"It took a while to get it, but it works fine."
"Never been disappointed with merchandise from this company, they have reasonable prices"
"Just purchased a handgun via GrabaGun. Very good experience. Good price, and they had it shipped to my local FFL in short order. Would definitely order through them again."
"I placed my order once the Smith & Wesson Response was back in stock. The process was simple and easy. Grab a gun emailed once there was an issue with the FFL and gave me other options in my area. It was delivered to the new FFL with zero issues. I will be definitely buying other firearms in the future from them."
"Ordered and the ammo I got qucik, like a week. The gun was shipped to a local ffl and was a couple weeks. Went to get my pistol, filled out the background form and once it cleared that was it. Love my pistol, ammo was cheaper, and just got the red dot sight I ordered. Love grab a gun. Also paid with the shoot now pay later, so awesome"
"I purchased this magazine from GrabAGun because their $4.99 flat-rate shipping made it the best deal I could find. Their price, while not the cheapest, was close to the median, but they blew away the competition with their shipping cost. Sure, it took a little longer, but I was not in a rush.
Normal-size (15-round) magazines for the PX4 Compact were impossible to find for the last six months. When they came in, they came in almost everywhere, but many on-line retailers limited the number you could purchase to one (1), and some charged $15+ to ship a single $30 magazine. "
A rep from GrabAGun.com, grabagun, has responded:
“We very much apologize that you are not totally satisfied with your purchase. We understand that no one wants to buy a product of any kind and not have it function properly. It is correct that we do not accept returns on transferred firearms. This is true with all firearm sellers everywhere we are aware. You simply can't take a gun home one day and bring it back to the store the next day and ask for a refund - for fairly obvious reasons. To combat this issue all customers have the ability to fully inspect their firearm in person BEFORE taking it home. You don't specify in your review how the firearm was broken, but you did say there was an obvious issue with the stock. The proper thing to do would have been to get in touch with us before taking it home. We would have replaced or refunded you without question. No problem, we do it as part of our standard operation procedures. Instead, you inspected the firearm and took it home knowing there was an issue. This is fine too though, as all firearm manufacturers have relatively robust warranty departments that handle post transfer manufacturing issues. So, while annoying to deal with for sure, you are not out of luck at all. Simply Google the manufacture's warranty department information and give them a call, and they should be more than happy to help you. It's what they are there for.”
