"I just completed restoring a Char-Broil GG-2400 BBQ left to us by the previous home owners. I couldn't even find a picture of it on the internet. So imagine my surprise when I found parts at GrillPartsSearch.com, something even Char-Broil web site didn't list. I needed to replace a Briquette Grate and Stainless Steel Large Dual Burner (EDLB). When you place an order you really never expect for anything to go wrong, Right ? The EDLB was out of stock, back-ordered, UGH!, Not something you want to hear with the warmer months ahead. I was given an option to purchase a deluxe model for a additional cost or wait a little over two weeks for the original part to arrive. I chose to wait it out, since the paint still need to cure on the stand and body. After the waiting period, ( the first of April ) I was contacted and informed that the part I order (EDLB) would no long be available for a very long period of time. The ladies graciously said they would send out the Deluxe model at no additional cost. That, ladies and gentlemen, is gold star customer service 101. The rest of this story is "our" little secret.
