"I listed 2 guns on my new account and had bids on one of them. Before my first listings expired they cancelled my account for what they called "fraudulent activity" or old account information. They offer no phone support and you have to be a "Gold" member or some such nonsense to even be able to chat with someone. As a result, you are left with email as the only option to communicate with them. Well, I have emailed them FIVE TIMES now and have failed to receive a response at all. Today, I finally got a response which was limited to updating my credit card info, which was up to date in the first place, but I CAN'T ACCESS MY ACCOUNT TO CHECK IT AND CHANGE, IF NECESSARY, BECAUSE THEY HAVE LOCKED ME OUT!!!! For some reason, the mentally challenged personnel in "customer support" have failed to comprehend this fact that I have reminded them of several times. So, I thought I would open a fresh account with new information and they have BLOCKED THAT ACCOUNT, TOO, BECAUSE IT IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE OTHER BLOCKED ACCOUNT!. What a bunch of imbeciles. There has to be a better provider of this service than Gun Broker because, simply put, they are the worst. "
"Gunbroker ****. I was a member for over 8 years, bought many items and sold over 250. Than they locked my account because there system would not take my charge card. The same card they have been using for years. I contacted them over 10 times with no response besides their automate email response. What a way to treat people. Someday when they go out of business, and they will, they can reflect on how they treated people. "

In response, I get a link asking me to pay for a membership package to get support. If everything goes good its fine but if you have a problem you are on your own! BEWARE you must protect yourself. I bid on three items, all of which were the same stuff: "RWS 22LR Subsonic Hollow Point 500 Rounds/ 1 Brick". At three separate times, I was outbid on all of them. The original price was $99.95. My bid was $100. And one by one, I was outbid by $2. I was outbid on the first two just a few minutes before the bids ended. And then the third 22 hours before.
How do I know GunBroker.com is dishonest? -- well, because there were four items, all the same stuff; all were $99.95 each (one was just $99). Three had "0" bid each. Only the one I bid on had two bids: mine $100, and the other $102. Who would be so stupid to outbid me while there were three other items that were $99.95 each (one was just $99)?
GunBroker.com is doing this out of bad faith. Really disgraceful. "
"This site claims to have buyer protection. After repeated emails and form submissions I got ZERO response from Gunbroker. Be warned as a buyer that there is zero protections that you will be get the product at all. I would not spend more then your willing to risk. Their rating system prevents you from rating the seller after 3 weeks. So if you never get the product you can't give a bad rating."
"Noticed a phenomenon on Gunbroker recently that when I bid on an item I am immediately advised that I was outbid, only to later learn that was not true. Then, I bid on an item requiring a $220 minimum bid, and was immediately advised that I was outbid and need to rebid at $230. After doing so, I am again advised that I was outbid and needed to up my bid by another $10 If I wanted to remain in the running. Then, after logging out of the site I get three emails advising that all three bids were accepted. Folks, this is nothing more than a scam brought on by unscrupulous businessmen seeking ways to steal your hard-earned money rather that earn it. Go elsewhere for your firearm needs. These people are nothing more than thieves !

"Won a bid on GunBroker. Paid for item. The seller refused to sell. Gunbroker says that the buyer, by bidding, enters into a "contract" to buy. They say the same is NOT true for the seller. The exact gun I won in bidding, was relisted by the same seller one day later. GunBroker permits this by policy! They also permit sellers to use of automated "bid-up" software. In my case the machine must have malfunctioned. As soon as the seller, Sportsman Supply in Butler, PA, realized the software didn't work the seller refused the sale.
GunBroker could easily fix this deception and unfairness by making every bidder acknowledge he/she is not a machine, just like a lot of retailers ask before access to the site! That would solve the problem and protect honest bidders!"

The seller negligently packaged and display case was damaged. The idiot packed the gun in the glass display case rather than packaging in padded gun case that was included.
I’ve made numerous complaints and got NO resolution. There customer service is TERRIBLE.

What prevents me from giving 5 Stars is that in the event of a problem with a sale or a question, I have found it virtually impossible to get an answer from Customer Service in a timely manner., That is my only complaint.
