"Filed a claim after paying with a money order and never getting item. They drug out the claim for months and finally said it was turned over to accounting to pay. Never heard from again. Will not answer emails or BBB report. NEVER pay with anything other than a credit card. That way you can file a claim with your CC company.
They must pride themselves over not helping buyers and only taking care of sellers, good or bad. "

"I recently bought a shotgun through Gunbroker.com. It was a mistake. I selected and FFL from their list of recommended FFL's. This person is totally unresponsive to both me and the gun seller in NC. Gunbroker does not have a phone number!! No one to help when something goes wrong. I have emailed them several times with a satisfactory formula for rectifying the situation. To say "find another FFL without how to do it on their website is WORTHLESS. This is what they claim as "customer support" To date I still have not received my shotgun."

"I sold a pistol. Seller refused to pay but Gunbroker charged my credit card anyway. I then sold it to someone who did pay and they charged me again. Bear in mind same serial number. Every time I emailed to complain they send another form email about problem solving. Now I can't get my credit card off of their site. DO NOT USE.

"The customer service is terrible/non-existent, just like eBay's. They allow libelous feedback and won't do anything about it. I had to open a fraud claim with a seller and they messed with my account for a few months where I couldn't list anything or buy anything because I had a 'problem with a previous transaction'. I finally got my account restored, when the seller admitted that they did receive payment after I showed them the pictures of the bank cashier's check, etc. and I received my pistol and closed the fraud claim. That alone should have given me reason to stop using them Now, they're screwing with my account again because I posted a few pictures of a gun EXACTLY like the one I'm selling. The pictures were saved from an old listing on a gun that had already sold about a year ago, in case I ever wanted to sell mine, and I left the watermark that GB provides on one unintentionally. I decided to sell mine, and the person complained that the pics were copyrighted. I can understand that, but their attitude sucked and they threatened me with going to the BATFE, who could care less about someone's pictures in the first place. So, I took new pictures of my piece but now I can't list anything or buy anything again, because I had a 'problem with a previous transaction'. Gunbroker is broken as far as customer service. After a complaint to the BBB in Georgia, who mysteriously has a link specifically for Gunbroker already set up and ready to go, all my account was restored and the libelous feedback someone left me was taken down. Apparently, that's the only way you're going to get any action out of Gunbroker. They're afraid of the BBB and any more complaints."
"The founder of the site created some basic code, got everything up and running, then basically abandoned actual maintenance and customer service for the site. It's basically the wild west with zero customer service at this point, so you easily get screwed by flake bidders and then Final Value Fees issued by Gunbroker even thought the buyer never pays."
