" I purchased a samsung 46 C7000 tv from HDHUT. I am very happy with my purchase and more happy with the staff at HDHUT. To my suprise I got a phone call from them after i placed the order. Based on other low priced internet websites i braced myself for pressured sales of maintenance contracts, accessories, etc. Well they didnt do that. The call was to let me know the tv was on it's way and the expected arrival date. The gentleman told me to check the box carefully and not accept from the shipper if it wasn't in good condition. He also asked me if someone would be home to help me bring the tv in the room where it would go. Finally he thanked me for my business and wished me a good day. Wow now that's execllent followup caring service. Got a call a week after the TV arrived and was asked if i was pleased with the TV. I Will definitely buy from again."

"On June 9, 2010 Iordered a Samsung UN55B8000 LED TV from HDHUT.COM. A person named
George told me the item was in stock and took the
order. We agreed to a price of 1999.00 COD
including tax and
delivery. The phone number
is correct. George asked for my e mail address but I
never received a purchase confirmation.
On Friday, June 11, 2010 a delivery driver appeared
at my home with a very large unmarked box. He opened
the box and turned
on the TV to ensure it was in working order. He then
demanded the payment - which I gave him.
After he left, I looked for the owners manual and
warranty. Both were missing. However a set up
guide was in the
box. According to the guide, the TV was a
UN55B6000VF - not the UNB8000 series I ordered. I
tried to call HD Hut
but was informed by George that TVs cannot be
returned. I called back on 6-14-10 and spoke to
the manager,
Peter and asked them to switch the TV they gave me
for the 8000 series (which I ordered) but that model
was
suddenly out of stock - despite their web site
still stating that it was in stock and ready for
delivery.

More disturbing was the fact that the receipt given
to me by the driver, showed I paid by a Visa credit
card and paid sales tax on top of the agreed upon
cash price of 1999.00. This would appear to be tax
evasion. As a
NYS taxpayer, I want this situation investigated.

Been calling Peter since 6-18-10 and he has not returned my calls. Still waiting. He has been promising to swap my TV for almost 2 weeks. This guy is "out of office" more then in. I also wonder what his real name is.

"Although I wouldn't give them a high rating, the experience wasn't as bad as others had said. (Well I guess it all depends on your mindset)
btw, I did have to cancel the order because it was out of stock.

Here's what my experience was like:
- I ordered around 4/6/10, their office was closed due to passover
- I called around 4/10, they said they got the order. What's funny here is that I've asked if the tv is in stock and they said yes. They did try to get me to a higher model of the tv because the tv i wanted wad discontinued. I said no, and they never mentioned it again (nor were they pushy about it). I did ask if the tv is under 1yr warranty and they said no, it's under 3 month warranty because it's discontinued. I wasn't sure if I'm being tricked into buying a refub but when I checked other sites it was the model was infact discontinued (other sites state "factory recertified")
- 2 days later I called back, they said it'll be shipped soon
- 2 days later I called back again, they said it'll ship soon with no updates. at this point I'm worried.
- 3 days later I called, and ask specifically if it's in stock or not cuz I waited a week already. They checked again and said no and told me in it's back order. so I told them I want to cancel it and rep said no problem. He asked if he can call me if he gets the tv in stock within 2-3 days. He said he'll throw in a hdmi cable for the troubles as well. I said fine he canceled it right away. I got the cancellation mail within 20min.

I'm sure some might think this is a horrible experience, but hey, they did offer great price and it's not like they lied to me or anything.

I do wish they were a bit clearer on what they have in stock though cuz I wouldn't just bought it from a different place if it was out of stock.

"Now I'm really not sure if this company is for real. I've call repeatedly & they have told me that this TV is back ordered. I guess I'm going to cancel my order in the morning April 15th. No bait & switch just no TV to ship for a website that states”in stock & ready to ship” not true. I've left my original review that I wrote just after I ordered & one update in tract so you can understand the roller coaster ride this company puts you on.
If anyone has ordered a Samsug UN55B6000 after March 29th & has received it please write a review

I'm beginning to have concerns with HDHUT.COM at this point but still look forward to receiving my new Samsung UN55B6000. I made my order online on Monday March 29th at 10:30AM PST. got an Email conformation moments later & on all the web pages it said "Due to the Upcoming Passover Holiday HDHUT.COM will be closed from Monday March 29th at 1:00pm EST till Thursday April 1st 10:00am EST.
I figured that HDHUT would not call me until April 1st or so.
when I didn't hear from them early morning April 1st I decided to called at 11:00AM PST & was confirmed quickly with no pressure & promised to have my UN55B6000 within 12 to 14 Business days but didn't have a shipping # to give me even after I asked him for one. I then checked the status of my order online at HDHUT.COM & it said beside order status NTN................I wounder what that means??? when I went to the status page at the top it said “Due to the remaining days of the Passover Holiday HDHUT.COM will be closed from Monday April 5th to Wednesday April 7th 10:00am.We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.”
It almost seem to easy or to good to be true. But if it isn't to good to be true I'm coming back & telling all my friends to shop here. I hope to update this review with more praise for HDHUT after my purchase arrives.

OK now it's Friday April 9th & the status of my order hadn't changed on HDHUT.COM order status page, so I called HDHUT.COM this morning to check on the status of my order. When I called they seemed polite enough & told me that my TV was on back order & that I should call again Monday April 12th to check to see if it came in. He also told me that HDHUT.COM over sold that model (UN55B6000) I then asked what the NTN on my order status page stands for he told me that it stands for (needs to notify) to tell me that it's out of stock.
That seem interesting because when I called the first time to confirm my order HDHUT could have told me then that the TV wasn't in stock because after confirming on the telephone I went directly to HDHUT.COM order status page & the status was the letters NTN.
HDHUT.COM was only open on the 1st 2nd 7th 8th & 9th of April sense my order but this item is not in stock & no, it will not be shipped in 24 hours & it's still listed on their web site for $140.00 more & it claims, on the web site, ready to ship in 24 hours.
I highly doubt that my TV well be delivered in the 10 to 14 business days, as promised, from when I confirmed my order on the 1st but it's still possible that HDHUT.COM could deliver my TV as promised. The TV should be delivered by no later the April 23rd

"Ordered an HDTV, Hdhut claimed to have this in stock and that it would ship within 24hrs. I even questioned this to make absolutely sure before I purchased. No TV, No phone call from HDHUT explaining why and outfaced lies when I called in refrence to this issue. (I CANCELED THIS ORDER)!
HDHUT has dialed my phone number 6 times since, concerned about neg. feed I may leave for them and not once about the product I had ordered, even tho a call back was promised to me more than once.
Long story short... They can not get me the TV for the price they advertised it for. Their web site now claims to have this TV in stock, ready to ship again within 24hrs, only it now carries a price tag of $1,599.99 not the $835.00 it was advertised for. CROOKED COMPANY, AVOID AT ALL COST! Customer service is rude and very unprofessional!

"HDHut sells DEFECTIVE, REFURBISHED product that it advertises as new. Once you receive it they WILL NOT HONOR THE ADVERTISED 1 YEAR WARRANTY. If you buy from them YOU WILL LOSE TIME AND MONEY. They make lots of promises to make things right but THEY ARE VERY SMOOTH LIARS. BUYERS BEWARE."

"Scammers!! Called on a listed HDTV and then tried to charge me $59 for the tv stand which stated it was included...also wanted to charge me an additional 9% for insurance and failed to mention this to me. Wanted to UPGRADE the tv to another model for an additional 100$ which doesnt exist. Very unprofessional....BEWARE!!!!"
