"I've been a customer at HPFY for almost a year due to their wide array of available items and the decent prices.
Today, I remembered that being a member of the HPFY loyalty program, entitles me to certain perks, based on my level (tier). As a Sungold tier member I should have a free shipping twice a year.
Even though I have reached this level by the end of the last year, I was never offered a free shipping option this year. To find out how can I get my free shipping, I chatted with customer service employee, who told me he was unable to help me online with it and I had to call the customer service.
Usually, this kind of matter can be resolved over the chat by the customer service reps, but not at your website. Of course, I called and when I spoke to a rep, I was told hat I still needed to pay for the shipping, but afterwards those shipping costs would be refunded.
I really think that the free shipping or free returns should be handled automatically by properly-working online system without wasting a customer's time on long chats or calls."
