"Harriet Carter is one of the worst companies that I've ever purchased from. I got their catalogue and saw the item. The price was reasonable so I figured I would order. I thought it would be quicker to order online and this company is reputable so I would go ahead. Boy was I wrong.
I live in NY and they're in PA so shipping time should be less than a week. After about two weeks without receiving anything I called them about the status of my order because they wasted no time charging my credit card. When I called and asked if my item had been shipped, the customer service person claimed that she didn't know. What??? This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. After a few choice words from me, low and behold, my item arrived the next day.
It was like they were sitting on the order and I had to call to get them to ship it. Not to mention when I received the product, it was missing an accessory. Sending it back would be too much of a hassle so I didn't bother. Plus they are super slow so who knows how long it would've taken for them to send a replacement.
DON'T BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! They are the worst."
