Disappointing

"Ordered from them 3 times, always slow processing order & are poor shippers. Most recently they also failed to include one of my items so I emailed them & was told they I had to wait 3-5 days for warehouse to investigate. Emailed them again after 7 days with no info & had to wait over 24 hours for them to answer email. They said sorry & ordered reship with nothing about this "warehouse investigation." So they could've just reshipped immediately, but decided to waste another week of my life. Cool, good job.

Good Grief!

" Hasbro Toy Shop online limits the amount of items you can purchase indefinitely & frequently cancels orders. You are allowed 10 of each item! Not 10 per order, not 10 per month... ONLY 10 quantity of that specific item in your lifetime! I recently placed a new $180 order (last order was placed last year over 10 months ago) & they cancelled it! What business turns away paying customers like that? I don't get it! Ridiculous... I wonder if investors know that they turn away business the way that they do! When I previously called to get some help regarding my canceled orders, the gal I spoke to was rude & short... perhaps she put a block on my address & is the reason my orders continue to get cancelled.

"Awful packing! They always pack items terrible and products arrive crushed, scraped and looking like the UPS truck ran them over. When you call or email for a replacement, they tell you they do not guarantee mint condition. I am not looking for mint- but I am looking for something that doesn't look like trash.

My latest complaint for the order was responded to by a manager who was very rude and asked if I was a collector in a derogatory way.

"Bought a few items from them. Wanted to cancel within 12 hours, on a weekend, and was told I couldn't because "it has already entered into the shipping process". Really? Because I ordered the item at 9pm and wrote them that SAME night before they opened the following morning on a Saturday and it was already in progress? Yeah ok. So I couldn't cancel, as someone has already mentioned, they charge you sales tax even when not in your state and there is NO tracking number when they say it had supposedly shipped (which had been days later I might add). So I have NO idea when it's going to get here and by what method. I should HOPE by UPS because of how much it cost me to ship. -__- Next time, I think I'm going the Amazon route unless I REALLY need something they have that I can't find in the store or elsewhere reasonably online or in a timely manner. It's been a week, still nothing."

"I've ordered numerous times from Hasbro's online shop here. Items are priced fairly, sticking closely to the MSRP (since their parent company is the manufacturer), they have decent email communications, and regular online coupon codes and the occasional specials. However, shipping costs are a tad higher than I'd like, shipping speeds are a bit slow, they charge sales tax despite not being in my state, and products are packed haphazardly in shipping boxes. Since HasbroToyShop is run as an independent arm of the company they have to go through the same order processes as other retailers which makes them picky about what collectible items they choose to stock, and how much stock they get, which leads to some items not showing up in a timely fashion or at all, or showing up and selling through in minutes. Their cart system has a frustration in the last issue, if you have an item in your cart it is not treated as "reserved" for you and may still sell through while you are ordering, returning you to the cart overview page only now asking you to remove the item from your cart - for hard-to-find collectibles this is ridiculously frustrating. I've only had to contact them once, their storefront system makes canceling orders a contact issue, they were fine but it was an extra step that other online retailers don't make customers go through these days. In terms of email correspondence, an online receipt is quickly sent and a shipping email is also sent though it does not include a shipping tracking number. As for every-day stuff and clearance items though, HasbroToyShop is fine and reasonable."

"Excellent service. Items were shipped well before the estimated date. The only problem I had was that they did not use any type of stuffing. The items I ordered were collectible so they came damaged because of the lack of air bubbles or kraft paper. Besides that, they were very good. "
