"Ordered a Hoover OnePwr cordless vacuum cleaner from the website. It arrived missing a vital part and appeared to be used.
The customer service team at Heartland was quick to issue an RMA and return label and my money was refunded.
Please note that if you use the guest checkout option in the hopes of not getting tons of marketing emails (sometimes more than once a day) you will be disappointed - the unsubscribe link within the footer of their emails leads to a page with no option to unsubscribe unless you sign in with an account. I advised the customer service team that this is a deceptive design practice known as a dark pattern and was told they will investigate the matter and take the appropriate actions to rectify the failure to provide an option to unsubscribe.
I will edit/update my review once I confirm the deceptive design is corrected and all users have the ability to successfully unsubscribe."
