When I placed the order, the link to track the shipments showed all the items that I ordered as shipped. I received the shipment, but only 1 of my items arrived. "I placed several orders in December with hifi. One order was for a Kicker DC12 2 ohm cabinet. They shipped me a DC124 which is a 4 ohm cabinet. I tried calling and left voice mails. Not one call back from them. So, I email the issue to them. The first reply from them tells me that I didn't buy it from them so they can't help me. I email them a copy of the invoice. Tony plies that I do not need to worry, that it is indeed 2 ohm. I email him back that it says 4 ohm on the connector and that the part number on the box is 07DC124..which is 4 ohm. He replies back that it wired for 2 ohm. So, I get my fluke multi meter and check..it is 4 ohm. I used my borescope to look inside the port hole and the speakers are 8 ohm. according to Kickers website these cannot be wired for 2 ohm. Tony replies to return it and they will refund my money minus shipping and restock fees, since I do not want to believe him. I also email Tony pictures of my meter hooked up and reading 3.9 ohms.
Update....just got an email from "Darren" saying they shipped me the wrong subs and they would either ship me the correct ones or issue a full refund. I asked for the correct ones. I will update as soon as something happens.
update: "Darren" emailed me yesterday saying the correct one was being shipped out today(yesterday) I requested the tracking number. I have not gotten any response since then.
Seems that people associated with HiFi are posting the positive feed back on here...look at the pattern of the positive reviews
UPDATE:01/13/2010 I finaly received the correct sub cabinet. WIll I but from them again? Probably not..Thanks to the way I was originaly treated it just isn't worth it... I shouldn't of had to spend hours of my time trying to get HIFI's mistake fixed..."
