Can’t get customer service help

"No delivery. Can’t get assistance and they still have my money for an incorrect order never delivered. Multiple promises of a phone call and none received. "

Terrible Service

"I placed an order by phone since there website would not let me do it on there. I recieved a confirmation number by phone and my credit card was charged immediately. I did not recieve an email like they said I would and when i go online to check the order it said its an invalid number. I tried to contact customer service and was on hold for 50 minutes. Totally unacceptable!!! I have since disputed this charge with my credit card company. I am done using Hickory Farms!"

Shipping split order

"When a customer places an order and Hickory Farm sees what the order entails why are they not informing the customer tel that items in their order cannot ship together for what ever the reason may be, instead of splitting the order especially a birthday order causing days apart for the receiver to receive their complete gift. The customer had no idea what can not be ship together it not like the order shows to different dates on each item being ship I did not find this out until my receiver only got a partial birthday order which was the missing cake the most important part of the whole gift. Had to call to find out where the rest of the order, to only find out that the other part of the order ships a different day of the week so why not wait if that is the case and ship all the same day of the week. I am disappointed and don't think I would ever order from them again the whole birthday gift was ruined. For that amount of money its sad and I'm hurt. Completely dissatisfied with the way this order was handled. The person I spoke act like it was no big deal, but think of it if it was for your love one."

Terrible Customer Service

"Placed an order on 11/26 for 2 items. One of the items shipped and was supposed to arrive on 12/01. It didn't arrive so I checked the tracking - no movement since 12/01 and simply says "delayed" with no ETA available.

On 12/06 I emailed customer service asking for options since the order is clearly lost. I receive a response back today, 12/07, stating that the package will arrive on the date I requested and that it had been refused. It really made no sense at all because the response didn't address my original inquiry. I respond with another explanation. I receive another response that is asking me to verify that the order was not received.

I respond again........and this time I get a response telling me that the items I ordered are out of stock but will be stocked again in time to ship by the date I requested. OK, now I'm just getting angry. So I respond telling CS to read the emails and stop generating generic responses.

Guess what? I get another response asking if I want to reschedule my delivery. Seriously, I can't even make this garbage up. I quit responding and decided to call. That was a mistake........

Brittany is the rep who I spoke with on the phone. I explain to her what has happened and I simply want a refund and the remaining item on my order canceled. She looks at the tracking and sees what I see and says several times "I hope they didn't lose your order". At this point I don't care, just want my money back. But .........WAIT FOR IT........she can't cancel the order since part of it has shipped.

I ask to speak to a supervisor or someone who can authorize a refund. Of course there is no one available and Brittany offers to escalate it and someone can call me in a day or two. Um, no. I'll hold, find someone now. I had to say that three times!! She puts me on hold and then after about 10 minutes comes back and tells me that the supervisors do not have authority to help me. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME????

She then tells me that she can have someone call me back in a couple of hours. I just want my money back!!! I tell her I want a refund and the remainder of my order canceled and I simply do NOT believe that no one there can do that. She offers to refund my money. Seriously folks, I cannot make this up!! It gets better!!

She clicks around and gives me the amount to be refunded which is HALF of what I paid. I very firmly stated that I want ALL of my money back and gave her that amount. She states another number that is not quite all of it. By this time it was taking every ounce of my energy to keep what little bit of cool I had left. Finally, she says she is refunding the correct amount.

I ask for an email and/or confirmation that the refund has been issued and the order has been canceled. Y'all are going to love this....... She told me that she cannot send an email and I will not receive an email confirmation. I honestly didn't even know what to say at this point except that this is the most horrible customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. You can email me all kinds of ads several times a day but you can't confirm a refund or cancelation? She says I can check my bank for confirmation.

I said good bye and hung up. This was several hours ago and no refund is pending and my order still says processing.

Mediocre service, at best

"I ordered 3 gift items all with very specific future delivery dates. I gave a date range since I knew I could not target only one day. All 3 items were shipped and delivered more than a week prior to the range specified. While this sounds fine, the recipients were not in town to retrieve the item from the front porch where it was left. You can guess the rest. I am so very disappointed. What is the purpose of asking for a delivery time if it is not going to be honored. Customer Service claims it is not their fault. I used to enjoy ordering from this company but will not do so again."

"The gift basket sent to my daughter was damaged and when I tried to choose a replacement, every thing is unavailable. I'm sure they could make up a similar one if they wanted to but so far they are not telling me that.

If they come through, I will change my rating.

Wow!

"As of today myself and my entire team who were working the kiosk at Quail Springs Mall in OKC finally said we're done! I reported to upper management of the mustards being not sealed properly and over 25 that we found to be bad we were told and I quote put them in a box and keep them out of site! I also told upper management the we need to go and check all the mustards in our stock room and was told that there's no need to do that. Thank god I kept pics on my phone! I will never work for them ever again. "

OK food, BAD delivery, NO follow up to inquiry!

"The food was good, I guess. I sent it as a Christmas gift to the awesome people who work at the group home my son lives in. I ordered by the deadline and was promised delivery on or before 12/24, but that wasn't what I got. It was delivered THREE days later on 12/27. I was so disappointed and felt like a ****. I sent them a message and they never replied, so I guess they aren't interested in standing behind their product. Boy, times have changed."

Bastages In Busuness

"I placed an order right after Christmas I believe it was 12/28/2019. HF had a sale on gift boxes. So I thought I would order 3 for the upcoming NFL playoff games in Jan. So, I get my 3 boxes around Jan. 3, 2020. The delivery was fine, the product was fine and I was happy with it gor the most part. Then 2 days later I get an email from HF stating that they are reducing the gift boxes that I purchased by another 30% which wasn’t a drop in the bucket for what my original purchase cost. So being less than a week since my order was placed I contacted HF explaining the issue to them and asked for a credit, which again wasn’t peanuts as their products are not cheap no matter how you slice it. Customer Seevice states that they were sorry, but were not able to offer me a refund if the difference! Not that I was looking for $$$ back, but even a gift card for the difference! NOTHING! This is no way for a company to react to a customer inquiry or to make friends or influence ppl. Terrible customer service and their online site most of the time has issues. Their 800 # is the worst and their entire crew is lacking in skills to provide the best service to customers! You’re better off going to Amazon for this type of product! It’s cheaper, you can depend on delivery and it’s quality and price are a lot easier on the palette! Steer clear my friends. "

Close to being a "scam".

"On December 13, 2019, I ordered a single product from the Hickory Farms catalogue to be delivered to four different addresses (in the USA). The product description said "ships free". At the time of the order, the operator added a shipping charge of $50+. Upon my questioning, she assured me that the shipping charge would be removed by a credit. However, the charge to my credit card revealed that it had not been. Thus, on 12/18, I called Hickory Farms and was told by Hayden that a refund process had begun but not completed and that he would "put it through today". Not having received a credit by 12/27, I called again and was told that my refund request was "pending approval", would take an unknown period of time and I could not talk to anyone involved in the approval itself. Now, on 1/6/20, I still have not received any refund. I can only conclude that Hickory Farms haas no intention of honoring its "ships free" statement. At the very least, this looks very deceptive."

No credit

"I accidentally place a duplicate order for a gift for my parents. I immediately called after order was submitted. Told order was not visible as it just was submitted. Tech said I have notes in system will have that dept call you next day so order won’t ship. Well no call next day so I call back only to find order did ship and no notes are in system. This tech did put notes in system of previous conversation and this conversation. Stated that dept took weekend off so they will call you Monday. No call Monday morning so I call speak to tech who sees notes apologizes and said we will credit you for 2nd order without sending back. I offered they refused said no credit will be submitted will see in 2-3 days. Well it’s been 2 weeks now no credit. "

Three calls and over 1 hour later no order placed.

"Intention was to order with a Hickory Farms gift card online. In the Billing section of checkout a gift card option was not given. I had tried twice before to order online, but customer service was closed and I couldn't get any assistance.

My first call was today was to verify I could use the card online. It was positive and the women gave me step-by-step instructions.

My second call happened after I couldn't find the gift card options she was talking about (come to find out it was only on her side). Th new women spoke in an already irritable tone and hung up on me after saying that gift cards aren't accepted online, that you can only use them in the store, and she could place my order if I would like. I explained that my previous call five minutes earlier informed me otherwise. This is when she hung up on me.

I called a third time and a very friendly third woman answered. She seemed to know what she was doing but repeatedly put me on hold to get supervisor assistance, got two of my cards blocked because the shipping address was not marked correctly on her computer, and after over 5o minutes on this call alone and asking if I still wanted to order at all, she put me on hold again.

No order was completed in all this time. The third women admitted to having little to no training. said she was "put on the phones right away after some training".

Don't get gift cards as gifts. You can't use them unless you're in the stores.
