The WORST Custimer Service

"Order gift online.. paid for shipping, rec’d email confirming order and got an order #. Call after gift never arrived and after calling for 5 days received no help, in fact they said they do not have an Oder # for me ... regardless of the fact that I have an email confirm & order # and they hit my Visa they just say too bad for me as they don’t see anything on their side! They will not respond to emails and the remote customer service people are awful ... one person was in bed when they answered and another sounded like they were working in a daycare when she answered! Save your money!"

inefficient and out-dated customer service skills

"called regarding my internet order not applying the discount, kept on hold 10 minutes then service rep came back on line stating her computer was undergoing an up-grade and I would need to CALL BACK to access another customer rep. REALLY? It is the year 2018 and technology has advanced to the point where you can transfer me to another customer service rep. When I called back, I waited 5 minutes before I received assistance from a service rep, friendly and polite, however, instead of issuing me a promotion code to submit for the discount with my order, she required me to submit the order and then a credit would be issued to my account, guess what I got to do....wait another 10 minutes on hold for her to issue the credit as she continued to state the order was not showing up....even though I had received an e-mail immediately after submitting stating my order had been received. I guess Hickory Farms Customer service decided I owed them 30 minutes of my life for that 10$ credit that was promised!"

Bad food, Big Prices

"Got a HF giftbox in an office gift exchange ans was kind of excited until i actually tried the food. The package contained 2 summer sausages, a wedge of cheese, a box of crackers, a little jar of mustard, and 3 of those little strawberry candies that seem to magically find their way into purses and candy bowls across the nation. The candies were by far, the best part of the box. These little morsels haven't changed since i was a child; why fix what isn't broken? The sausages were acceptable; meaty with a bit of spice, though considerably less than one normally expect in a summer sausage. The crackers, despite being sealed, were dense and stale; good for absorbing that last ill-advised shot of peppermint schnapps but not much else. The cheese was the worst. This "Three Cheese & Onion" blend, was by far the blandest thing I've eaten in my life. It was like I was biting into soft wax like those little soda bottle candies, only without the hint of anything else. If you're going to get your favorite snack aficionado a gift box make it yourself out of quality ingredients, or at the very least don't waste your money on hickory farms."

Don't order for Christmas

"Ordered chocolate treats for my mother to arrive on Christmas on 12/2/17. Got an email stating backordered on 12/20/17. Okay it's going to be late. Then next day hickory farms cancelled order and sent me a full refund without me asking on 12/21/17. Had to order an Amazon prime gift. Which made it day after Christmas. Disappointing hickory farms for advertising Christmas gifts and you don't deliver. "

Ordered the 18th of December - package still not delivered and NO REPLY from Hickory Farms

"I ordered a package for my mother on the 18th of December for standard Christmas Delivery. Package has STILL not arrived as of December 27th and I have contacted the company by email twice and NO REPLY. If you call their service number you are on hold, hold, hold and then transferred around. Which is worse - lost in internet or die on the phone??? I want my credit card to be refunded before I have to contact my bank - dispute the charge - have them get ahold of Hickory Farms and give me credit on my account."

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. EVER.

"When trying to return something we received as a gift the store would not do it. They said they don't do refunds and never have. And told me that the till doesn't even do refunds. I called customer service right there in the store, and they said they would refund us and to hand the phone to the sales clerk. Then the sales clerk was an imbecile and didn't understand what was going on? So she handed the phone to the manager, and then the manager, who I think was the franchisee, talks to her for a second and hangs up, and doesn't do the refund. And then when we call the company a scam joint, the manager calls us rude, threatens to kick us out of the mall and call security. For trying to get a refund. I said why? We're not insulting you, we're not yelling at you WE WEREN'T EVEN MAD AT THE SALES PEOPLE. We're just trying to get a refund?????????????????

On the receipt it says: NO CASH, DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD REFUNDS. PRIOR TO 12/15 ... NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES AFTER 12/25.

I never spend money at these stupid mall kiosks; places that crop up around Christmas to rip you off and pack up as soon as possible after Christmas, and not give a refund. Don't say that you give 100% satisfaction and refunds on the website WHEN YOU "don't do refunds ever". LIARS. If you're a franchisee using the company name you should abide by their statement otherwise it is meaningless. Telling everyone I know never to buy their crap. I hope you start honoring your company policy or go out of business, fraudsters.

"Box wasn't delivered by Xmas as promised, I called and it's been sitting in the warehouse for 10 days. Apparently it's my fault for picking the 25th for delivery. Maybe will get there this week. Maybe????"

If I could leave less than 1 star I would!!

"I placed an order on 12/11/17. SUPPOSEDLY left their facility on 12/13. UPS was never renders the package. I called on the 18th. How very kind of Hickory Farms to say they would replace the order and I could just “keep” the duplicate order. The order left on the 21st.....just now getting to local airport! AND THEY WERE NOT TRUTHFUL. Order wasn’t replaced - original order was just FINALKY shipped! Can’t have same UPS tracking number on shipment that they SWORE left their facility and UPS was just wrong and then have “Replacement Order” use exact same tracking. DO NOT TRUST THEIR DELIVERY PROMISES!!!! The day AFTER Christmas isn’t any good especially when ordered 2 WEEKS ahead of time. And how gracious - they offered to refund the shipping price......that was ZERO because I ordered enough! I suggested full refund and FINALLY got a supervisor to agree. Oh but then you go to yet a THIRD department to process refund AFTER you’ve waited at least 5 minutes for the supervisor to supposedly refund. She just “sets it up”. They’ll make sure credit arrives within 5-7 days......"

Worst experience I have

" One year they send the gifts with out the sender name on it ,second year they did deliver them 2 weeks late .this year they did not Send the gifts at all,they did not contacted me to get Payment information and now I have no gift to send for Christmas for over 25 family The customer service are the worst customer service I have dealt with , If they are busy hire more people to help or get out of the business don’t promise something you could not deliver. I will never use them again even if they send my gift for free , I called them over 20 time to check on my order they promise to call me back but they never did call or send my order .we did use them for 35 years for our Christmas gift I’m not a new customer for them"

employees verbally assaulting and using profanity.

"the worst customer experience. Three rivers mall in kelso Washington employee Chris and manager Kara called for security and had me removed from the store kelso police were called. After hearing both sides of the story Kelso police apologized for the bad experience i had in the store and suggested maybe social media would be appropriate to save other shoppers from having a bad shopping en canter as well. Security officer as well very respectful and apologetic after becoming fully aware of the situation. Mall management disappointed in the behavior of hickory farms employees and the situation needless to say they would be taking it up with further management and invited us to be their guests at the theater. Hopefully in the future they will not hire chris back before serious training or at all kara will attend management classes and the small shop will continue to do business there for the public at Christmas with more appropriate employees.No one should have to be cursed at or abused verbally while trying to shop. Don't let store employees bully you when trying to get the correct information to address their superiors of their bad behavior."

"order 2 gift boxes called The Holiday Planner Gift Box the shipping dept just threw the 2 boxs in the shipping box and all the stuff was out of the box when shipped to my place of work. Will not order from the website again."

Run away ..... slow, out dated, unresponsive

"Ordered $2,500 worth the gifts for clients. Never heard from the company, not even once. When I called they asked for my credit card number but could not give me a total for my order. Yeah right.....they just lost out on many years of business. They're good for fat old nothing burgers!"

Would give 0 stars if it was possible. Don't take a chance using Hickory Farms!

"I have never had such poor, inept customer service. Paid for expedited shipping; order never shipped; credit card charged; said my order number was not in their system; put on hold again and again; had to repeat information over and over; was told twice that someone would contact me—no one has. Demanded to have my issue escalated to a supervisor; was told that they are very busy and that I would just have to go into their queue. I have contacted AMEX to dispute the charge, since Hickory Farms can’t seem to get it together. Truly unbelievable!!!"

Hickory Farms is the WORSE company on the internet!!

"Today I spent two hours on the phone with customer service trying to put in an order- worth $200.00 to the company and because of the run- around I was given - after two hours I just hung up!! I do not know how this company stays in business! I will never - ever try to buy anything again from them! Do not waste your time!! They will not listen to any concerns you have- I even talked with two "supervisors" and could get little satisfaction!
