"HobbyTron was easy to order from and they promptly send out the items ordered. The only problem I have is that the majority of things sold are made in China and they do not last very long. I have two grandchildren who are seven and eight and both of them have ordered different airsoft guns. Both of the guns barely lasted a day and then internal parts broke and I don't think replacement parts are available. I have requested replacement parts and to date I have not heard back HobbyTron."
"Hobbytron has horrible customer service and sells junk. I ordered a helicopter and received a poorly packaged item that was damaged upon receipt. Hobbytron wants me to pay the freight to return the item. I already paid the freight once, for an item that worked and this one doesn't. I've sent multiple emails and phone calls and no response. It's either me pay the freight to return it (and who knows if I'll ever get a replacement or a refund, or eat the $31 I spent. Horrible company. Stay away from their junk and poor customer service. "

"Huge Disappointment. The MP5 arrived and did not work out of the box. I took it to the Hobbytron warehouse (which previously allowed walk-in business) and there was a sign on the door that their new store-front locations are a few miles away. I took the gun to one of those storefronts where they took the gun and said they would bring it to the warehouse and get a replacement for me. It has been a month and whenever I call customer service they tell me I should have mailed it back rather than brought it to their store. They now have my gun, my money and they have refused to return it to me. The people in the store tell me that the warehouse has my gun and the store cannot give me a replacement since i purchased it online and not in the store. The warehouse tells me they won't replace it because I brought it to the store and did not mail it in (I was trying to avoid a $17 shipping fee since the business was 5 minutes from my house). The gun is now in the warehouse but they won't process the return since I "Didn't follow protocol by mailing it to them" and they will not give me a refund because the said they don't give cash refunds on open products. The customer service lady (Val) refused to give me the name of her boss. She said that they hired her so they don't have to talk to me. I asked her if I could drive to the warehouse to pick up my gun and she said the public is not allowed at the location and they will push me out of the building and shut the door on me. She finally hung up on me. My only option now is taking them to small claims court because they have both my gun and my money and refuse to give any options. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THIS GUN WAS A CHRISTMAS PRESENT FOR MY KID AND ITS BEEN A MONTH AND SHE IS YET TO ENJOY HER ONLY PRESENT."
"My seven year old's Christmas RC truck did not work out of the box. The battery and charger both had female plug. Spend TWO full days "trying" to reach HobbyTron on the phone, when finally picked up grumpy customer service person said "go to the web site and request an RA" that is all she would say. Well, I did request an RA and it still took WEEKS for it to be provided. Now I find out I can ONLY get a store credit, replacement of a product that was defective out of box, or fixed. What a rip."
"Everything arrived on time and without issue. It would have been a plus if the airsoft gun would have come with some instructions (other than the picture type with various foreign language wording on the side of the box), but imagine this is more to deal with the original equipment manufactor than Hobbytron. "HobbyTron is a huge disappointment! We ordered an RC car for my son for Christmas only to have him open Christmas morning and discover it was used! Now I have tried for over a month to reach someone at HobbyTron with no luck. I went online to request an RMA # and received a notice that someone would contact me within 1-2 working days. I guess they do not work very often because it took 3 weeks! Now I have a question about this return/exchange and I have tried for an additional 2 weeks to reach someone. No one ever answers the phone; I have left VM but no one ever returns my call. I have tried emailing them by reply to their order emails but that has not worked either. I have also tried emailing my question to their link on the website only to have that not work. It seems like HobbyTron is excellent at taking your money but has no intention of working with anyone if there is a problem. In my eyes that is theft and we are disputing the charges.
