"Well, we got our order after just over a week (and we're in the same state) which consisted of HobbyTron.com's last 3 Walther P99 pistol kits ($24.95/ea). We never did get an e-mail with any shipping or tracking information, so even though the money was pulled from our bank we were left guessing when they'd ship. I sent an e-mail using their website's contact form asking if they could give us a ship date, and just got a reply (now two weeks later) telling me to call their customer service line if I still wanted any information. Well, before I sent the e-mail I did try a phone call but after waiting for 25 minutes on hold the phone clicked me over to voicemail.
When we got the box everything was there, but one of the guns was busted. The end of the barrel was broken off where it end in orange plastic. So even though it still operates it never shoots very straight.
All in all it wasn't a very good experience getting them here, but the kids are having a blast non-the-less and we don't regret getting them. I guess that means airsoft is fun, but HobbTron as a vender could use a few lessons in good customer service if they want my money ever again."
"HobbyTron.com is a scam. I bought a Phantom S107 Helicopter and I received it broken. Part of the tail was broken off as well as the IR sensor on the helicopter. The actual controller did not function properly, even with new batteries. I have been trying to contact them ever since. The customer service never answers the phone. I have left my phone on hold with them for over an hour just today but yet no one answers. I also filed a form to send my helicopter back in order to receive a new one or my money back but HobbyTron has not sent any confirmation (Total wait time for confirmation should be "2 business days." I have now wasted $40 and a lot of time. DO NOT USE HOBBYTRON.COM"
"purchased a extra large helicopter.pulled it out of the box looked awesome.thought I would try it in the house as it is to cold outside where I live.fired it up to set trim as the book says.ran less than a minute started to make grinding sound.turned it off and could see the lower blade gear lost teeth???right out of the box no flying period.contacted company gave me a return number. took it to ups they want 50 dollars to ship item back plus pay again to ship back to me.why would anybody spend that much on shipping??? try to call customer service. what a joke???? if they want to make this issue right with me I would be more than happy to write a better review.but at this point I feel like I got screwed big time...... something you need to think about before ordering from them dont stand behind what they sell?????????"
