"I ordered a RC helicopter and when it showed up the transmitter and receiver were two different frequencies so it didn't work. They are sending a new one. I haven't seen it yet but I was assured it's on the way. I ordered the original on June 28th. Today is July 13th and I still don't have the heli that I ordered (10 business days since I ordered). Prior to the broken one showing up I had not received any shipping info and the site stated it was being processed. So I called and emailed. Which leads me to the next section.
Customer service is not good. Yes they are replacing my defective item but I don't have it yet. If you look at ConsumerAffairs.com for hobbytron there are over 200 complaints. A lot were similar to my experience. I tried calling them during business hours and no one answered any of their extensions; tech support, customer service, or wholesale. I must have let the phone ring 25 times. Emails were responded to after a bit with the excuse of the holiday slowing them down. I assure you, you will be better off going to Amazon. Amazon has the same items at the same price and some offer free shipping."
