Then we didn't get a response on the returned item for over six weeks. Finally had to involved the credit card company to resolve our dispute as they neither returned our money nor sent us a different gun. "

We decided to wait but on 4/30/15 I found the same item for less on Amazon so I called to cancel my order. I received my item from Amazon in under72 hours. I checked on HobbyTron's site today and saw:

Well the person I spoke to to cancel the order answered and when I asked about my refund she got quite rude and informed me that I should expect to wait another 30 days. "This place is awful. I purchased a fully automatic airsoft gun for my son. After 2 weeks it stopped working. I used their online RMA procedures and heard nothing. I left them message after message and got nowhere. Stay away from this company. They are a scam."
"I have been dealing with hobbytron.com since the day after Christmas. We purchased a remote control car for my son and when he opened the package the car and tried to use the car it was not working properly. It would not turn right or left. He did nothing to break it, it did not work form the beginning.
We starting calling the company the day after Christmas to get a refund or replacement. It is almost impossible to get a hold of anyone. We tried for days calling the number. It would put you on hold to speak to a customer service rep and then after about 15-20 min of being on hold it would flip to a voice recording saying to leave your name and number and they will call back. I left 4 messages on different days and they would never call back. I also called about 15 times and waited on hold each time to speak to someone and then like clockwork it would go to voice mail. The only way I was able to get a hold of anyone (and I found this out a week later) was via the online chat. It was there they said that since we opened the package we had to get a replacement because their policy does not give refunds (even if it was damaged upon opening). Finally after filing complaints with the BBB they got back to me and said we had to pay to ship it back to CA and then they would send us a replacement.
The second week of Jan we sent it back to them (cost $25). I have not a heard a word from this company that they received it or that they were sending a replacement. Finally today I got on the online chat and gave them our return number. They said it is not put in the system yet and it could take 3-4 weeks before it would. I said I sent it 5 weeks ago. Once again they said they would email me once it is taken care of but I am pretty sure I will once again not hear back from them. I keep sending BBB the updates but I don't think it will do any good.

"Do yourself a Favor and spend your hard earned money somewhere else. Anywhere else. or I guarantee you will be sorry. I barely got through their fake phone service to place the order which was a big red flag. after sitting on hold for ten minutes youre asked to leave a message and they do not return those calls (even after the holidays) they finally anwered and took my order then waited the entire week to ship it while lying to me that it had shipped. They sent me defective toys that I bought my children for christmas Morning and when i tried to call them of course they dont answer or return calls. the chat is a scam as well as the first rep refused to call me because "she was on the phone with fedex" but promised a supervisor would call. no call. then the second rep gave me o number to reach a suervisor (ext 118 - Katie) but i onlly got fake voicemail several times. the third rep explained that i had to fill out an online RMA form which i did but it was fake too as i never heard back. so they will take your money (180 for me) but ignore you and hope you'll go away when yo realize youve been scammed. I now see all of the similar stories so i hope they get ran out of business or that karma will get them all :) The most unethical and pathetic business ive ever experienced. "This is the worst company. Ordered Airsoft claymore. Came used and in an open box. Hobby torn says no refunds and no refunds with opened box. Hard to send back unopened when they send it to you opened. Mine was used and did not work. Took three weeks to get an RMA number to send back and now have to pay to send back. Hope I don't get another used piece of crap. Don't buy from them their service is the worst. Don't know how they have a four star rating. Hobby tron is a joke. Do not waste your time and money."
"Fraud!!!Worst customer service on the face of this earth. Ordered a R/C Tank for my son on January 30th. I was sent a email the very same day to verify my shipping address before shipping. I replied to their email the very same day, within 20 mins which it was sent to me. On February 3rd I called to check the status of my order. Well, my reply email wasn't opened nor was the product shipped, but my credit card was charged. I requested the package be expedited so I will receive the item before my sons birthday. Their response was sorry it will cost an additional $40.00 for that service. I cancelled the order only for them to turn around a say I will receive my refund in 2 billing cycles.
Do not purchase anything from this company! They are rude and inconsiderate of anyone's needs, as long as they have your money up front and come back to them shortly after for any concerns. "

"PROS: large selection. Moderately priced. My item arrived within estimated time of 5-8 days (i had to pay for shipping). CONS: I was unable to select the color so we received a random color of their choosing. The car stopped running after 1 use. the remote control and the car stopped syncing so I reached out via email (the companies preferred method of contact) and received no response after 10 days so i reached out again only to be told that i had to pay to return the item to be repaired. I will not be purchasing from this company again."
