"Horrible company with the worst customer support I have ever seen! Ordered a product, paid for shipping, and after a month it showed up broken. No one at the company could be reached for days. Then I spoke with an "agent" who could not help me at all and in fact pointed me to PayPal for assistance. PayPal advised me to send back the product and provided an address. Today, the item did a roundtrip to China and back (costing me another $34) as undeliverable. What a sham. "

Things take forever to come from china, especially if you order lipo. Pay the little extra and order from the U.S. warehouse and it comes very fast."

My 2 experiences (orders) with Hobby King are: they listed my ARF as being in U.S. and ordered from U.S. - but was shipped from Hong Kong air express. Today the tracking finally registered and shows my package en-route somewhere in the United States. I'm thinking: I can get the same aggravation from Tower or Horizon hobbies with their 1 year + back orders.
Bottom line seems to be you MUST BE EXCEPTIONALLY PATIENT, or go somewhere else. And pray you don't need customer service for something you ordered.
BTW, anyone see the HUGE HK add posted in Model Aviation, with an actual phone number? Wonder how many calls will be angry customers... "

"Very poor service supplied a Turnigy 9X that had obviously been used in some way, either demo or returned to the company by unsatisfied customer.
When queried they offered a $4.00 credit. They obviously didn't take my complaint seriously. Thinking that they would have to pay the freight back as this was their fault for not sending a new item I tried to be obliging and offered to keep the unit if they could guarantee it was not a warranty return and put a $10.00 credit on my account. My mistake they will not pay the return freight, so it looks like I'm stuck with a secondhand transmitter but have have paid for a new one.
The only saving grace is this was a trial build for a group of three, so that we could work out the gotcha's. I have spent over $200 and have been waiting for them to restock their kk2 flight controller before ordering the motors speed controllers etc so on a rough estimate they are going to loose a minimum of $1000 of sales between the three of us.
It won't matter to their employees but I hope one of their managers reads this??"

I was then sent a letter from Parcelforce worldwide demanding a extra charge of 22.58 pounds before they will deliver. This is made up of import tax and a clearance fee of 8.0 pounds. I do not see the point of a UK warehouse If you have to pay this hidden charge, I would not have objected at ordering time if this had been explained to me, but dislike a charge of about 33 dollars extra payment. I asked the question again to Hobby King 'why show an item is in stock at UK warehouse and is sent from China?' I again await a reply from them. "
