This store is horrible! I made two orders and they charged my credit card right away and then asked me for verification of my credit card, which is a photo of the card. And I did send that. But they did not ship the prodcuts (more than $600 orders) in two weeks! I looked for help and answer and solution and found their online chat service. But the lady was rude and never answered my question about why they charged my card before even approved the order. He/She logged me out of the chat before we finished talking and refused to pick up a call any more (a lady name Cheryl). I finally got in and chatted with "another person (Zoe)" (but maybe the same person) and she logged me out again right after I asked her to send me a copy of my previous chat."
"-Bought a gas engine for RC and received little or no support in resolving issues when the engine would not start.No fuel appeared in the fuel line after choking.
The CDI ignition failed and I returned it for a replacement and received a huge runaround after many contacts with support as to when I could get a replacement. I found a substitute in house and they refused to send it to me. I have backup for all this but it falls on deaf ears. DONT use them because they cant support it!! The engine is on ebay for resale now and I will cut my losses .Two months and no resolution."
"I oder Heli kit and parts from Hobbyking before...If all going good is OK...when it is bad is bad....But this time...11/23/2012 I order the 3 items from Hobbyking:
HK-SSH70A Hobbyking SS Heli Series 70-80A ESC w/UBEC T2650.3S.1C Turnigy 2650mAh 3S 1C LLF Tx Pack (Futaba/JR NE3023182407 Solo PRO 180 3G Flybarless 3D Micro Helicopt. The heli Solo Solo 180 3D Nineeagle is crack on screw hole access mounting for the base, defect from manufacture assembly or packaging and missing HK-SSH70A Hobbyking SS Heli Series 70-80A ESC w/UBEC, contact the customer service the only way was thru the HobbyKing Support Centre no phone or nothing...Dam Sh*T is hard...so far they give me run around and you have to do a home work for them to explain how is missing and broking part...so far go no where...Damm it is hard..cost me $166+ for the battery and Solo Tx...can be usedable....Think again before you buy from Hobbyking. "
"I'm in the UK, bought servos from HobbyKing and got a confirmation message saying:
YOUR ORDER MAY TAKE UP TO 12 DAYS TO ARRIVE.
Waited 14 days, didn't receive anything. Checked with Royal Mail, my shipping choice. They know nothing.
Tried HobbyKing's tech support web system and after 6 hours my ticket wasn't even assigned to anybody.
Tried their chat, took a lot of time to get somebody on chat that told me I'd need to wait up to 28 days and that the package was shipped using Logistics Worldwide Express, I don't know why.
They offered no help. I'll leave the UK in 5 days and would like to know what happens now. Nothing. They didn't help at all.
The tech support person said my ticket will eventually be transferred to the shipping team who has up to 2 days to answer.
I've asked for a number to call and talk with somebody, their 'hotline' is not available. No numbers to call.
I couldn't even cancel my purchase, as it was already shipped.
Awful service. Looks like they don't care about their customers. I'll never buy from them again."

"Las order placed, order was in Hong Kong for over 2 weeks as registered mail. Did E-Chat and they were nice but suggested that I continue to wait for some info on mail site! Estimated time for US delivery is 3-4 weeks! Too Slow for future orders.

In most universes this is called FRAUD, and then to get them to return the money is a long ridiculous process full of lie after lie,

"i have not dealt with hobby king yet, i am interested in several of their kits. most their "composite" fiberglass EDF's, and a few of their 3D type's like the EXTRA 300,260. in fiberglass if they have them that way. is hobby king like Banana Hobby & Nitro Planes, were once you made your purchase you can never get a hold of them if you need too. with both Banana & Nitro you can call them 1 min after they open and they NEVER answer the phone. what about returns is it like Banana where once you do get a hold of someone (email only) they want you to take a million pictures of the item from every angle. with that said what about their products mainly the fiberglass EDF's how is the quality of their plans? are they cheap junk or fairly decent planes. at the prices they want i know they are not top of the line stuff, so i don't mind "tweaking" it some to perform better. any input anyone can offer would be appreciated. also are their kits complete or have you found missing parts and pieces a lot of times. one other thing there is some idiot on ebay using the name h.o.b.b.yking, this MORAN has no clue about ANY of the planes he's selling. if you want you can email directly @ ****@**** thanks

I ordered in June. Figured it would take a while to ship from overseas. Nope.
I checked my account, and saw that is was in a *unpaid* status. But my card had been billed. And paid. Months ago.
It's now November.
Now I've been going back and forth with them. 'Send us an image of your card.' 'Send us a copy of the statement that shows you were billed.' 'Send us a copy of your ID.'
In other words, send use *EVERYTHING WE NEED TO COMMIT IDENTITY THEFT AGAINST YOU*
If they don't get their act together fast, I'm gonna try to dispute the charge. And go on an Anti-Hobby King campaign.

Oh well, their prices are awesome, like super cheap, and the quality of their products is also really good. Turnigy LiPos are really good and can't be beaten in value. $15 for a 700 watt 3000kv motor, $22 for a 4s 5000mah hardcase lipo, wow. Just wow. I'll keep shopping with them until I die"
"I have made 3 orders at hobbyking. 2 of them I had chosen backordered parts, so shipping the item took an extra 1-2 weeks. All orders have tracking number, so it's easy to know where your order is. I have not had any defective parts and the batteries are cheap and work well. Their online chat is excellent to change your order before it is printed at the warehouse."
"Slow in processing order, it took 4 days to actually pack and then ship my order. The unit I got is a "not to lucky you got a bad one" the lipo battery is DOA. They would compensate for $5.00 to settle but I said the cost to buy one is $11.00. Still waiting a reply from them. Almost a week no response yet. And also the heli is a junk Nine Eagles 318A (solo pro 180)money down the drain. "
"Hobbyking rocks! I have spent thousands with them and never an issue. Sometimes you have to have patience with them but for what I pay I'm very happy. Lipos for 80% less than USA brands, 3d helicopters for less than a third of the price and electronics for offensively cheap. Out of 50 orders I have NEVER had a defective product. I don't buy rtf anything I like to build everything myself if your looking for an out of the box plane, heli or quad go pay some one (horizon) 5 times as much for a sub par prouduct. Heck they will even kiss your arse if you call them. I am in no way shape or form in bed with hobbyking. I live in the USA and got sick of paying 50$ for a 1000mah 3 cell that I could find at hobbyking for 7$ and lasted longer, had a much higher discharge. If you give them one star than your ether the competition or an idiot. If you complained about the shipping time when you order a back ordered item than you should not be allowed to reproduce.I always get my orders in about 2 weeks for standard air or 3-4 days with ems shipping. As long as I was not a dummy ordering a back ordered item. I have always received a refund in a timely manner if you know what live chat is. Don't be a blind consumer people. "I read the reviews here after I had ordered parts from Hobby King. I'm glad I read it afterwards or I may not have ordered parts from them. I have had a great experience with them. I have made 4 orders (4 one on its way) and all 3 have reach me in Ontario Canada in about 10 days. That's pretty good from China!!
They did mess up on one of the motors they sent. I ordered 5 motors for my Quad Copter build (1 spare) and the 5th one was a different model. I hesitated to bother contacting them based on reviews here but did anyway. They wanted to see photos of the motor and shipping box. Then they wanted to see photos of the other parts I bought and packaging material. I told them the parts were installed on the copter (send photo) and told them they did not need to see the packaging material. They ended up offering me the wrong motor for $7. I told them I had no use for it and it was Hobby King's mistake not mine. After a total of 4 E-mails they credited my account for the cost of the motor and said I could keep the wrong one as a gift.
Granted I have spent about $300 on parts so it is a drop in the bucket BUT they did look after me satisfactorily. I am satisfied and will order again!"
