"I placed an order from Walmart and was not aware it was not coming from Walmart directly. I had to return the items. I included the original receipt and shame on me for not making a copy as I've never had problems returning products. Three months later, I still do not have any refund as they state they never received. Guess someone in receiving has my money for the return. "

"I ordered something from Hobby Warehouse through Walmart.com. According to Walmart's website, the item was due to arrive within 5 days, in plenty of time for Christmas. This information was on both Walmart.com website AND the confirmation email I received!
However, the tracking number from the email I received confirming shipment shows an "on time" delivery of the day AFTER Christmas, or 8 days (not counting Christmas) from the date of purchase.
Had I known that the item wasn't going to arrive in time for Christmas, I would have ordered from another vendor.
I contacted Walmart.com, who informed me that I needed to contact Hobby Warehouse. This is the response I got: "All orders are shipped using standard 3-5 business day delivery and you will receive a confirmation email with tracking ID when your item is received by our shipper. All orders do ship within 1-2 business days per the listing."
This tells me that the information provided to Walmart.com from Hobby Warehouse was inconsistent with their actual policy. All I know is I now have to find this item somewhere else (and probably pay extra for expedited shipping), AND return the item when it does arrive!
Total waste of my time... I won't be buying anything from Hobby Warehouse again."
" One star is too much for these guys, Stay Away if you want to keep your sanity and your money. Placed a large order with them (12 items) on July 19, 2015 and for next two weeks it would only show "processing" finally called and was told two of the items I ordered were out of stock and the entire order would be cancelled. No emails to tell me this. Since i still needed a few items to keep a project going I ordered a couple of small items and once again it's "processing" and when called it will be shipped tomorrow. wait three days and call again, It will be shipped tomorrow. My first order came to 1,089.65 but they only refunded 882.38 and the other 207.27 is now in dispute!!!!. I don't believe I'll ever see the second order. BEWARE of these scam artists and there hurry up and wait tactics to keep your money. There ought to be a law against companies like this one. "

I wish I had read all these negative reviews before I purchased some nerf soakers from them through Walmart (who usually have a good returns policy). No communication. My soakers do not work, my kids cannot use them. I had to go to toys r us and buy more soakers. All the reviews of this company have been terrible and I totally agree with them. "Bad experience all the way around. Placed order Monday, no email or communication whatsoever. Paid via Paypal. Paypal sent email saying payment was "pending" for 5 days. Was unable to ever log back into my hobbywarehouse account! Errored out every time. Sent a note to customer service, they said due to an error, Paypal did not work and payment was not received so the order was cancelled. Again, other than the reply from customer service, no email was ever sent to me about this. Paypal still shows payment pending, and I cannot cancel it. I sent follow up email about paypal issue and in-ability to log into my account on their website. After reading these reviews I do not expect a helpful reply from Sarah Hughes in customer service. Frankly I think they didn't have the item and simply cancelled my order(the reason I bought it was I could not find it elsewhere, being discontinued). I wish I read these reviews first. AVOID THIS SITE AT ALL COSTS!"

"I had a pretty poor experience with this website, so I thought I should share. Right after I put in the order, I came across all the poor reviews here, which made me pretty nervous. However, my order was pretty simple and not too expensive, so I didn't cancel.
I put in my order on 3/31/13. I ordered 6 items total. This included a model plane and all required materials to assemble it. I received no confirmation email, as other reviews had mentioned, and the order status went to "pending fulfillment."
On 4/3, after still not hearing anything, I filed a case to request my order status. They said it would ship in 24-48 hours.
On 4/9 I checked the order status again, and they had changed my order without notifying me. They removed the model I had ordered and adjusted the price accordingly. I opened another case to ask why it changed and when it would finally ship. They said they didn't have the model and they simply omitted it from the order. Didn't even offer me a chance to choose a different one. You'd think they would want my business. Also, what did they think the rest of the supplies were for? Again they said it would ship in 24-48 hours
On 4/10 the package did ship, and the status finally changed to charged/shipped, so at this point it was out of their hands. It arrived on 4/16 with everything except the model, as expected. For the model, I have taken my business elsewhere. As far as the items I got from them, other than being a bit roughed up, they were fine. Packaging was average, just big wad of brown paper in a box.
Bottom line, stay away. The prices may be decent, but it was quite an annoying experience. I'm also not sure what took them so long to dump the items in a box and send it off, and then they straight up lied about when it would ship. These people shouldn't be running an online shop.

The cancelled my first order (SO1149288) without any advice as to why they cancelled it. After inquiring via e-mail, I was told their "warehouse" couldn't find one of the items I was ordering.
Before I placed my 2nd order (SO1208841), I confirmed 1st via e-mail if they had everything in my order in stock. After placing my order, I discovered they had in their offering another product I was interested in. They said they couldn't consolidate the items so they suggested to cancel my order so I could put in a new one (with which I agreed).
I placed my 3rd order (SO1211548) after confirming they had everything in stock and after a short while, discovered that my 3rd order was cancelled again. After several inquiries, I was told one of the items wasn't in stock anymore. Huh? Fine.
I placed my 4th order (SO1244820) for the items they confirmed were in stock and told them that I am sincerely hoping they would not cancel my order this time. Sarah Hughes confirmed that my order was ready to ship out within 24 hours so I had a sigh of relief. Lo and behold, I checked the status of my order a short while later and discovered my order was cancelled again, without any advice or explanation. I asked my sister to call them up and my sister got infuriated with their lack of "customer service."
I gave them 4 chances to do business with a customer and they blew it. If there was something lower than 1 star, that's what I would give this so-called organization."
"My sons received a very expensive present for Christmas which they opened two days ago...a racetrack set. one car is not working and the tracks are not working, so basically the set is not working. my engineer husband has spent 2 days trying to get it work. I called Hobby Warehouse...since it was purchased through them and they said "there is nothing we can do" since it is over the 20 days. Also, Sara would not let me speak to a manager or someone at a higher level. And had a very rude tone. So I guess they take your money and send broken toys and say "oh sorry, you missed the 20 day policy."

"This listing shows hobby-warehouse.com, but they are the same company as hobbywarehouse.com. They are shady to say the least. I called and spoke to someone about an order that hadn't shipped (5 days after ordering). I asked them to cancel. I was put on hold while she contacted the "warehouse." She told me they hadn't picked it yet and that she would cancel it. 6 days later, I received the order. I called and spoke to Jessica Bryant. She said I had to pay to ship it back and they would not refund me for shipping in either direction. The few dollars I saved in the past do not make up for the slow ship times and the money I lost on this screw up."

"Go elsewhere. I ordered one item a few weeks before Christmas. When I didn't hear about shipment after a few days, I contacted them (which process is somewhat mysterious), and was told it would ship soon and I would receive it in time for Christmas. Well, Christmas came and went, and I still didn't have any tracking number or proof of shipment. I contacted them again, and was told the item was "lost in shipment." They did refund the purchase, but I'm 95% sure they just never shipped the item in the first place. They offered no proof of shipment, and in today's world that is just unacceptable. Don't waste your time."
