I had probably the worst costumer service of my life.

"So, for my birthday I received a gift card to Hollister and since it is like one of my faves I was super excited. and since today was my birthday I decided to go. Well today I went shopping and because there was a sale on shorts I went and tried a bunch of them on, but the ones only in the sale section. I finally found the ones I really wanted , and to keep in mind I tried them in three different sizes a three, one and zero, to see which ones I liked most. However when I went to check out they rang up to be 48 dollars, and I was hey I grabbed them off the sale section for thirty dollars. He called the manager and basically he said that they were in the wrong section and that basically I either pay the price or dont. I was like why is it my fault that these shorts are in the wrong section and that if they are in the thirty dollars that how much they should be. He at that point didnt help me at all and ended just walking away from me and said that they are 48 dollars no matter where they are. I was so frustrated I left not buying nothing."

horrible and rude

"Received my order missing 1 item asked them to reship it,send me a confirmation email by reshipping,next day the horrible rude Brittany the customer service agent cancelled it,saying we are unable to either reship or refund in a rudeee email,called twice by phone kept shouting telling me someone responded to you by e_mail that is all and dropped the call.I am a valuable customer club cali member since 2016,placing orders by hundreds dollars all my family love the brand name Hollister,however this is not the first time they did horrible things like that before,ordered 3 shirts size xs different colors,sent me size s blue color.had to waste time and effort to change,then ordered pants size 1 the cashier told me take 0 it is available at store,I asked her to order size 1,then they sent me size 0 as if she will let me wear what she wants! When you order too many in one order like I did order 7 pants plus jackets and hoodies,they missed 1 pants had to please them to send it then it was sold out had to accept refund.always missing up with customers.not appreciating our purchase and that we pay their salaries,they are very rude.Since yesterdayI can not beleive the rude communications with customer service,when you ask about a supervisor or manager they always don't have.I had to go through partial disputeand reported that to federal consumer protection will boycott Hollister and advised family and friends.really unbelievable "

Forcing people to give their email! Thinks people are dumb!

"My experience:
I went to Hollister at Jersey Garden NY ( September 6th 2017) at around 6-8 pm.
I like this brand as well as Abercrombie, also due to the high quality service.
I had a booklet for discount for some shops at Jersey Garden, including Hollister (20% off when you purchase for more than 75 usd)
When paying at Hollister I was asked to give my email address and in exchange I will get 20% off on my most expensive item, I said "no thanks, I don't want to give my email" ( i guess this is my RIGHT to not give my email) and I told the cashier that in any case I already have the booklet through which I get 20% on my purchase. She then told me"oh but to get the 20% ( from the booklet) YOU HAVE TO give your email address"
I informed her that I don't want to give my email address (AGAIN) and that she doesn't have the right to trick me by forcing me to give me my email address! I feel they take people for fool! I studied business and law and I unfortunately for them I know MY RIGHTS!!!
Then the manager who was right next , came and she talked in a very agressive way: "we don't force you, it is not a trick, you have to give the email address to get the 20%" and then she added "why don't you just leave the store"
I replied that it was not her brand and that she has no right to talk like that to me. She then went to her colleagues, gossiping and laughing at me as if she was a 16 years old high school teenager. I found it totally respectless and shameful that a brand like Hollister hires such respectless people.
I shared this story with my American friends and they advised me to write to Hollister considering sharing this story on social media. I did, they proposed to offer me 40% or 40 usd voucher. I explained the person that I am expecting apologizes from the manager as a real compensation but then no answer anymore ...
I have travelled around the world and believe me ... I have went through such a situation and this is totally shocking and traumatizing for me. Shopping should be fun and relaxing and not an experience to be insulted, humiliated and Mistreated!
The manager behavior was probably so also because I wasn't a Native American ( I am European)
Worst Company ever! Shameful and respectless !

Worst shopping experience so far

"Called customer service three times to follow up with my order. First time the rep asked me to call carrier as they don't have control over shipping. Second and third time told me nothing can be done. Still holding my money and no solution at third week now."

"The return process is the worst I have encountered sure you can do it better Hollister.

Why is there a £9 charge, or return it to the store and face the queue? No wonder the store is jam-packed

Almost all UK retailers offer hassle free and postage free return.

Still my all time favorite

"I've been buying for years and have never had a problem buying in store or online. I would honestly cry if this site shut down! It's hard to find clothes for petitie people now and their jeans fit me like a glove . I always look forward to their sales !!!"

"World worst service i ever came up with. Got 4 stuffs online. It was supposed to come on dec 30,2016 by latest and today it is jan5,3017 but nothing in my hand. I caled customer service and they have zero knowledge. They want me to wait for 1 more weeks. It is gift for my brother but now it was..

Order is no where to be found

"Online order requiring 1 week to ship to store, ridiculous but I accepted that upon placing the order. No communication upon arrival date so I have them an extra day before calling customer service, and they have no idea where the order is. All they said it's order was shipped out 8 days ago, and to check in the store, and they can't even call their own store as they don't have the number. I find the store number myself and they can't find my order and they can't help because they have to open the store. What a joke. I will never buy from Hollister or A&F ever again"

Rubbish arrogant And more rubbish!!

"So 4 days after ordering next day delivery still no parcel. 5 emails and 5 phone calls later to hollister no one cares and I don't know if i'l get my good.
Arrogance of this company is just overwhelming, the customer service dept is run by ppl will no customer service skills.
When I've tried to complain about this to an email address the emails are just dismissing my complaint.
Just terrible on every level.
Wanted to order more clothes with them but the service is so bad will have to go else where
DO NOT ORDER, can't be trusted.
