"The owner of the company, Allan, is extremely helpful. When UPS messed up my order, he contacted me personally and also offered to compensate for the misunderstanding.

The product (3 Odyssey Flight FX Cases) arrived quickly (within 2 days of shipment), and everything came working and in perfect condition.

Another thing that is cool about Hollywood DJ is that on some items have a button that allow you to name your own price which is really cool. You have 3 chances to name a reasonable offer before you "strike out".

The staff there goes to the extreme to help me get everytihing I need and if it's not in stock, they'll get it FAST.

These guys live up to the bad reviews. Nice on the phone, but zero customer service online and lies about shipping. An email arrives saying the product was shipped but leaves out tracking info. After a week and two calls, they tell me the item is out of stock. Huh? So why send an email saying it's been shipped? Terrible. Stay away. "

"I was disappointed with their lack of updated status with the item I ordered. When I ordered the projector the nite before it stated the item was in stock and ready for shipping as it still was when I called mid afternoon the next to check on the order (I never received any confirmation email from them so I was concerned). The salesperson stated the item was on backorder even though I was never notified and their webpage still stated it was available for next day shipping. I will say they were prompt about canceling the order and my paypal refund was processed quickly."

"Hollywood DJ in Central La is the worst retailer that I have ever dealt with. They sent me the wrong turntable cases and did not refund ANY money back to me even after they received the returned product. Daniel in the sales department insisted on placing the order by phone, and he guaranteed my satisfaction. However he has not responded to any e-mails or phone calls regarding this transaction. After multiple contact attempts and threatening to contact the Better Business Bureau, it is clear that the company and this employee are trying to steal my money."

"I ordered a set of rolling flight cases and some mixer rails from this company on July 7. Being an impatient man, I checked the order status on the website and saw that the order was placed on hold almost immediately. The next day, I called the phone number listed under the "contact" section on the website and quickly got a hold of a very nice gentleman who looked into my order. He then informed me that they had placed my order on hold because some customers had experienced failures of the handles on the cases I had ordered and they didn't want my turntables to be damaged when using these cases.

Step back for a second and think about this... they put a hold on an order and risked losing a sale altogether because they didn't want bad product in the hands of the consumer. Not a whole lot of companies will do that.

After chatting with this gentleman for a short while about my options, he changed my order to a different set of cases and even discounted them a little bit for me because of the hassle. The cases arrived from UPS with the battle bridge arriving a few days later.

It's nice to see that some companies really care about the product that they are giving to their customers. I will be ordering from hollywooddj again."
