"Not sure if its a shortcoming of the platform or the contractor, but when you pick a contractor and you are asked to select a date/time, and then you find out that the contractor cannot do that date or time, and you pick a new date over the phone or via email with the contractor, HomeAdvisor still thinks the contractor is coming on the original date, which in turn triggers emails from the platform which are not in the correct series of events. I got an email asking how the contractor did before they even came. Maybe this is just a matter of the contractor not going back into their admin area and updating the service date, or maybe that functionality doesn't even exist. I only mention it because this happens every time I use HomeAdvisor. The platform always thinks that things are happening before they do."
