"I have used Home Advisor several times with varying degrees of success. The biggest issue I have had is contractors that don't call back or if they do, they don't show up for their appointments. Home Advisor will let you create a negative review but won't post it for the public. They say it goes to the contractor and they can respond if they they want (which they have not). No show and no call back contractors waste everyone's time and there should be a way for people to see which ones take the time to speak to their potential customers."
