"An email to me asking what I thought about a contractor should specify that I need to call or use the website. There are no instructions to not email a response. If I do that a message comes back that you aren't looking at emails anymore. You need to tell us that in the first email you send."

They are thieves

"I left HomeAdvisor because they are theives. They charge the contractor a large fee for the service, then they charge the contractor for each lead, which they send to several contractors each one paying the large fee for the lead even if they can't afford it. So when a lead comes in, it's always a surprise fee. When asked why the amount of the lead is so high all the customer service reps. say is that it is computer generated. So HomeAdvisor can charge you what ever they want and you have no choice It to pay for it. "
