"As a new business, I was contacted by Home Advisor, I signed up and had to cancelled a month in, they did not refund me my membership fee, I was disappointed but I said o.k lesson learned, one year later, they took money out of my account for renewal for another year, after I cancelled the year before, now I am trying to get my money back since they would not give it back. Be aware of this company, they have no integrity, not getting a reply from an email is not a consent to renew a membership which was cancelled. "

"Terrible. They said they cancelled my appt because they had not so formed with me. They only called once and left a message they were cancelling. When I called the contractor Home Advisor had never scheded the appt with the contractor. I took off work to meet with the contractor. The co tractor said Homeadvisor often doesn't look at the scheduled or put in the iinfo. This is not the first time this has happened with this provider."

Then I started to get phone calls from Home Advisor pros who expressed that they now had to pay you even though I didn't hire them. I did realize that by going on your site I was costing people $$. "Your service is fine, there are few contractors in this area and those that are here are two to three months out. You provided names of contractors for roof and gutter work. None would take the job. I finally got someone from Roseberg, OR Hundreds of miles away. Someone from Palm industries is coming out Tuesday to look at the project. In the past their bid was much higher than I could afford."
