"As new homeowners in a new city, it is very comforting to have a "screening" service for reputable companies when needing work done. All merchants have contacted us promptly, have been pleasant to deal with, and we have been very happy with their work and work ethic."
"Good, we will use again since we are new to the area and don't know handy men."
"We couldn’t be happier with the carpentry work by Renovation NYC. We found Zac to be very honest and reliable. We hired Renovation NYC to replace and build a fireplace mantel, floating shelves, and hallway closet in an 1894 Brownstone. The quality of the carpentry was better than I had expected. They took the time to fit the mantel and cabinet in place to look very professional. We would recommend Renovation NYC for their carpentry and would hire again when we have additional carpentry needs. "
"Fast and no problems.showed up on time and got the job done fast."

"The website is not seem less when using from a smart phone. Also somewhat confusing and needs to be more user friendly."
"The customer service agents were very friendly and helpful whenever I had questions or was trying to find the right candidate for the job."
"Very prompt service calls to my request of removal of items."
"The initial contact person was Cole who listened to the problem and then explained what the solution would require. Milton was the tech and he was very knowledgeable. He explained what the procedures and outcomes would be. Thank you Milton!"
"They connected me with someone that was polite, courteous, and very professional."
"Very quick response to my need for a recommendation for a company to carry-out a home project "
"Home Advisor stays on top of your experience with them with frequent check-in emails. The pre-screen professionals, making sure of licensing and insurance and also offer a service of a fixed price for your project (for a fee) and to find and book the best matching professional. The only problem with that -is that as a lay consumer, it is not always easy to describe accurately what your need is, so the fixed price might not be as optimal as if you had the pro you pick come out and vet what the issues are. However, for something "cut and dried" that would be a time saving feature.
"
"I often ask a retired contractor when I need a referral for work at my home. When he is not available he always says to use Home Advisor. After several projects over the years I find that I like using Home Advisor. My only dislike is every time I go through Home Advisor I am deluged with emails every day asking if I want more contractors to give me estimates. The sheer volume of email from Home Advisor is just too much. Other than that I recommend using them. One major difference between Home Advisor and those books that get sent to you with contractors listed in them is most of those books have both good and bad contractors. Any contractor willing to pay the fees can be in those books. Home Advisor lust only contractors that have good ratings from former customers. In other words they can't buy their way in. So I recommend Home Advisor and recommend that you give feedback on the contractors you use. "
"The process was extremely easy. I filled out a form and had contractors call me. I chose the best contractor for my needs and the work was done the next day. I will be using HomeAdvisor in the future!"
