"I booked with HomeAdvisor to have someone mow my lawn. I found someone cheaper, and who was local so I canceled my order. I continued to receive emails and phone calls from them for two weeks even though I kept repeating to them that I had canceled my order. Then they charged my card $161.50 for a service they were supposedly providing in four days. After calling and having to yell, and scream at them like a maniac, they agreed to refund my money. I later found out that I was being charged for duct cleaning which I had not ordered. I live in a rental home. Do you seriously believe I would hire someone to clean out the ducts in someone else's home? Be very, very careful. Apparently, once they have your credit information, they feel they can charge you any amount of money, without your authorization, and for any service they decide. I don't know if the people who they contract with to do the work are any good, or not, but I don't think partnering with this group is a good idea for anyone. "
