"I have used HomeClick twice now. Once when we remodeled our own kitchen and again when I remodeled a friends kitchen. The prices are great and the selection equally as good. Will definitely shop with them again."
"I placed an order after finding HomeClick through Amazon and they supposedly had the item I was looking for available. I made my purchase and my card was charged immediately, no mention was ever made of the item being ordered or back-ordered. Several days later I received an email notifying me that the item was back-ordered and that the revised ship date would be more than a month and a half away! I called and cancelled my order and was told I would receive a confirmation email and a prompt refund. I called back 4 days later and they had no record of that and promised the same thing again, but only after they could confirm the manufacturer had cancelled the back-order I was never informed of to begin with. Given their unwillingness to issue the refund, I told them I would just go ahead and dispute the charges. Eventually, they did process my refund after way too much effort. They sell items they do not have, they charge when you order not when they ship/process orders, and their customer service is lacking. Buyer beware, I would shop elsewhere.
They have since been in contact trying to get me to remove my review and I will add what I shared with them as I feel it elaborates on my concern:
"The biggest leap anyone makes when making an online purchase is "can I trust this site". When you take someone's money for a product you don't have and don't know when/if you will have again, that's just plain unscrupulous. If something has to be ordered or back-ordered, that needs to be disclosed before the sale and most certainly before the exchange of funds. On top of the fact that you sold something you didn't have and didn't have access to, you waited several days to inform me. Then, not because you couldn't but because you didn't want to, your company wouldn't issue an immediate refund. Once I pushed hard enough, the refund came through quickly showing you had the ability all along and chose to put me off. The review will stand as long as your business practices do. I read the reviews of others to help navigate the mountain of websites out there to help decide which one's are trustworthy. To remove the review would be a disservice to others who I look to for assistance daily. My suggestion would be to review your business practices to insure nothing like this happens again.""
"HomeClick had the best price for the Toto toilets that I was looking for. Free shipping and an added 10% discount on the total order was a plus.
Items were well packaged and arrived before the estimated delivery date. The trucking company called a few days prior to the scheduled delivery date and then also called 30 minutes before the shipment was delivered.
One of the toilets had a factory imperfection that was not the fault of HomeClick. It was not a major imperfection. HomeClick offered a partial refund to offset the imperfection to my satisfaction. It was a good way to handle this issue.
I will buy again from HomeClick in the future. I am a satisfied customer."
"Homeclick had the Toto toilet we wanted at the lowest price we found - by about 25% or so. Given Homeclick's numerous negative reviews on Resellerratings, we were initially reluctant to go through with the purchase. However their low price and the fact that the item was supposedly in-stock convinced us to give them a shot.
We placed the order, and the next day we received an email confirmation that the package had gone out . The shipper (FedEx Home Delivery) allowed the free option of having the package held at a local FedEx store, which was very convenient for us. The package arrived (from NJ to CA) a week after the order date. Everything was very well packed with well-placed Styrofoam - unlike many other online vendors. The transaction proceeded about as smoothly as we could expect. We were very impressed with Homeclick and would buy from them again in the future.

"I made an online purchase about 6 weeks ago. I was told it would be shipped out in about 4-5 days. Well it wasnt it was a few weeks before I received our sectional. I had a terrible time with customer service responding to emails and with the customer service manager Jamie Barton responding as well -finally she called me after I left a low review on their Facebook page. We finally received the sectional. We opened everything put together and guess what??? Missing a large back cushion for,the couch!!!!! I called them 7 times and they told me it was being mailed from the manufacturer. Surprise now they email and tell me they dont make that anymore and I will not be getting my cushion. Jamie Bartok will not even answer my calls or call me back. She only forwards my emails to someone else. What good is a couch without the cushions??? Boy this is upsetting and poor customer service. I have a couch without cushion, out over $1300.00. They told me to donate it Then I will get a refund. I doubt I will get a refund if I donate it. The company homeclick has not stood firm and honest on any promises made so far. If I do Donate it then wait for a refund I will be out a cushion-less couch and my money.$1300.00! This is not fair. I guess I will file my complaint with the BBB. This is awful the customer service these days. I paid my hard earned money to them in good faith,where is the honesty and service. Please be careful when ordering and receiving your items they may not all be there!!! If I could give this homeclick site less than 1 star I would."
"The best experience was the ordering. Then it went slowly down-hill from there. When the item arrived I received a call from UPS to schedule delivery. UPS told me that because I lived on a dead-end road and it would come in an 18 wheeler, I would need to make arrangements. I made final arrangements to have the order delivered to the Lowes Parking Lot in Rochester - they gave me an estimated time for the early afternoon; around 1:00 to 2:00. On the day of delivery, UPS called and said it would be in earlier than planned - around 12:00 Noon to 12:30. I waited in the parking lot (and yes, I had to spend $63.53 to rent a U-Haul, plus $20 in gas) until the time expired. So much for free shipping. I called to get a new time and they told me 3:30 to 4:00. I could have worked all day and not taken time off. I waited until 4:00 and had not heard from anyone. I called back and they told me he was at another delivery - I left to a different location (to intercept the driver). Once loaded, I headed to my residence to then find the top of the box, although from the outside the box looked OK) had been crushed, which the bar top had slight damage. I decided to live with it rather than start the process over again. Also, one of the bolts for the bottom foot rest, was not threaded, great quality control. Still in need of a bolt - called customer service today 5/12 and they are shipping a new one. HomeClick called after my previous post and was very responsive. They satisfactorily corrected the issue; therefore, I've changed my rating."

"Great recovery and response to a major customer service issue
I ordered a Zephyr Range Hood and they were very quick to charge my credit card for the order but after 16 days and no shipping acknowledgement I called to inquire about the status. I spoke to Jennifer Young who said she would email the manufacturer and send me an email update with the status. A day and a half went by and no email from Jennifer so I called again.
After checking her computer she told in a very brusque and abrasive voice the product was discontinued and they would have to refund my money. So no apologies or explanation other than a very rude "they can't get the product they have advertised on their site."
I wonder how long I would have waited for them to tell me they couldn't get the product I ordered had I not called to inquire about the order?
Very bad customer service.
My next call was to Build.com where I was able to place the order for $50 less than Home Click and they have 194 in stock that ship in 2 days. I should have called there first. Much better customer service. Suggest ordering from there
I will never order from Homeclick again and will tell all my friends not to either. You should seriously consider looking elsewhere too.

Update May 18th:
Within an hour of posting my review here I received a phone call from Spencer Freedman, Customer Service Supervisor at Homeclick.com. Spencer was very apologetic and promised to find out what happened. He emailed later that evening to apologize again.
The next day I received a lengthy email detailing the cause of the mis-communication and what the company had done to ensure it wouldn't happen again (process changes). Again Spencer was very apologetic and eager to regain my trust and business.
I was extremely impressed by the immediacy, sincerity, professionalism and detailed nature of the follow-up. Every company makes mistakes, no matter how good they are. It's how they recover from those mistakes and regain the trust of their customers that separates good companies from great ones.
Based on the follow-up interaction with Spencer, I will most definitely give Home-click another chance.
