"I guess I was one of the lucky ones. I'm remodeling a bathroom and they had everything I wanted in stock and at the lowest prices. It all shipped the next day and arrived 2 days earlier then scheduled by Fedex ground. Product was all new-in-box and no damage.
It seems most of the problems are/were with customer service but I didn't have any problems so can't make any comment about that. I would order again. "

"I read the reviews and was very skeptical. I called and asked why they have so many negative reviews. The sale person stated that the company has changed and the reviews do not reflect the current company. I asked the sales person whether they have the specific product I was interested in. On the web it indicated that they had on left. He said "Yes sir". I told him I will give him the benefit of the doubt. I ordered the item on 4/17/13 at about 2:00 p.m. He told me it will arrive by the weekend or early next week. "We ordered a water heater a month ago. Still no delivery and company rep Kristi always promises to check and call back but doesn't. Customer service gentleman never calls back and actually hung up on me. Our tracking number is 1203410. Shipping company says they never received heater and Home Products said shipping co. lost it. Was told last week they had to try to locate heater before they issue refund or send a new one. Manager Adam has not called me back. Other reps on phone are nice after 30 minute hold time for each call but say they can do nothing. Getting ready to call Amex and Better Business Bureau and CA District Atty."
"I ordered a very expensive digital shower system with a special valve. I found it much cheaper from Home Products To Go than any other website. I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews but decided to give it a try. The whole process went exactly how the website said it would. I placed the order and got a confirmation e-mail within 3 days. The first part of my offer shipped immediately and I received in just a couple of days. They also sent an instant e-mail with tracking info. The second part of my order was on backorder. The website indicated that it was backordered for 3 weeks and within the three week period, it was shipped to me and I picked it up today. Everything was very easy and I'm very pleased with their service."
"I was just about to place a $2000+ order of Kohler shower parts with Home Products ToGo when I came across the poor reviews. Quite frankly I was going to reconsider, but decided to go ahead because the potential savings warranted the risk. I tried to enter a Canadian postal code for the address and found I couldn't. I called and found out that they don't ship directly to Canada but would ship to a freight forwarder. They provided me a link and I setup an account. I placed the order and after a couple of days had gone by I enquired again as the web details indicated the order was still being processed even though everything was listed in stock. The same day I received confirmation that the order had shipped the previous day and the next day it arrived at the forwarder. The forwarder was back logged I think due to Black Friday, but after waiting the weekend for the forwarder to acknowledge receiving the parts, the shipment arrived three days later. An 11 day turn-a-round from placing the order to receiving it - that's great given the added 3rd party. Everything was exactly as ordered. All the internal boxes were factory sealed with the exception of one, which I think the freight forwarder opened. There was a shipping charge to ship to the forwarder, it wasn't unreasonable, although I had been told that shipping was supposed to be included. I had no, problems, and would order again.

"We wish we would have read the reviews before ordering. We placed a big order 8 days ago. Our order confirmation said we'd receive an email stating when the order was shipped. Since that has not happened yet we have called several times and sent a few emails. No response. I have cancelled the order because it will now not be received in time for installation and we need a shower. "I have been taken for a ride as so many others. I placed an order for a fan. A few minutes after ordering I realised I had ordered the wrong fan. I went to the web site and found no phone number. I sent an e-mail within 15 minutes of ordering, no response. Then I sent another e-mail through the site using their form, no response. I contacted my Visa provider they said they had already obtained the funds. I recieved the fan today. Now I sent an e-mail requestinmg instruictions on how to return the fan, so far no response. By the way, in their fine print they say if you got what you ordered and wish to return it there will be a 30% restocking fee. "

All of the negative reviews on this site almost convinced me to cancel my order (I found the site while searching for a coupon/discount code – already in the midst of placing my order). I am usually not swayed by online reviews – but some of these were pretty bad – with numerous persons calling the company a scam, claiming they had been charged but never received merchandise, etc. I chose to order anyway due to the low prices, and promised myself that if the process went smoothly I would take the time to write a positive review. "All I want to do is find out my backorder. I have written three times. I could not find my backorder in my account. Where did it go? WHY IS THERE NO PHONE NUMBER TO TALK TO ANYONE? That doesn't seem legal when you are running a business.
I am sitting on pins and needles about my returns too and if I will even see a credit.
If I don't get a response in the next couple of days, I will cancel the backorder and lodge complaints also...everywhere...and my credits better show up in the appropriate amount even with the over the top 30% restocking fee....and what about my free shipping??? I do not have a good feeling about this company. On Monday, 5/14/12, I will go to my bank and report this as a fraudulent charge. My bank will take care of them.

Any return is subject to 30% penalty. Ever heard of that? I did not. Judging by the time syamp on their confirmation, they are located four hours East of NY, in S.America US laws do not apply to them. They are evading taxes and IRS should be going after them. There is no physical address and no phone number. I tried to cancel the order 200010770 I placed on 05-09-12, 15 minutes after I placed it – my e-mails (the only way to communicate with this strange company) did not get any response. But my MasterCard was charged instantly and a heavy sink I did not order was shipped to me. Well, I hope to get protection from CC.

"I am at my wit's end with this group. They are unresponsive. I have emailed them five times regarding my receipt of damaged goods. I have filed a damage claim with FedEx and with them per their website instructions. I ordered a Rheem Tankless hot water heater; it arrived with concealed damages. FedEx directed me to Quality Products Warehouse and Elemental Partners as shippers. Elemental Partners denies knowledge of the shipping order. The order is a critical path item for a construction project. Since I have had no response, I feel that my only alternative is to file a reimbursement claim with VISA, pursue any legal avenues available with the NY Attorney General's office, and file a complaint with Oregon's Attorney General Consumer Division as they shipped the product to Oregon. If you do not care about receiving what you ordered and paid for, then do business with this group."
