"I had been searching many online stores for a Hunter ceiling fan that was out of stock everywhere I looked. I was so happy to see that Home Perfect's website said it was "In stock" and "Ships in 4-7 days." Au Contraire! I ordered it on 2-18-14, and my VISA was charged immediately. On 2-26-14, I called to check the status. The person I talked to, Aby, could barely speak English. He said he had to "call the manufacturer to see if it has been shipped" and would "call back." No return call. When I called on 2-27-14, Aby told me it was "backordered" but would be "shipped on 3-04-14 and a tracking number would be emailed then." I asked why the Home Perfect website still claimed that this fan was "In Stock" and "Ships in 4-7 days." No answer. Well, March 4th came without a delivery or tracking number. I tried an online chat, with no response. I then called, and Aby (must be the only employee) then told me it was on "backorder for two weeks." Again, the website still claimed that the fan was "In Stock" and "Ships in 4-7 days"! What a crock! That was the last straw. I demanded that the order be canceled and my VISA credited in full. After numerous emails back and forth, I received an email saying the order was canceled and my VISA would be credited in 3-5 days. No surprise, they took the full 5 days, but at least my VISA was credited on 3-17-14--after almost a month of dealing with this fraudulent company. My advice: Beware! What Home Perfect claims on their website may not be true, and they will string out the transaction as long as possible. I had to threaten to dispute the charge with VISA. I will NEVER deal with Home Perfect again!!!"
