"I ordered a shower arm from Homeperfect at 10PM on 7/15. The price was one of the lowest I found on the web. By morning I realized I was going to have an issue with installing this shower arm, so I cancelled the order online according to Homeperfect's policy. I received a confirmation of my cancellation at 6:21 am on 7/16. At 12:11 PM an agent from Homeperfect posted a comment on my order, but I never received an email from Homeperfect telling me a comment had been posted. Instead I got an email at 4:07 PM telling me my order had been shipped. Knowing a little bit about how Fedex's computers work, what it really meant was that someone actually entered the shipment onto Fedex's computer, printed a label and slapped it on the box. So even though the agent from Homeperfect said my order has been shipped at 12:11, almost 6 hours after I cancelled the order, it was even entered in Fedex's computer until 4:07, nearly 10 hours after I cancelled the order. The order was actually picked up by Fedex until after 7PM, 13 hours after I cancelled.
On 8/2 at 6:25 am I went online, following the procedure on the web site and requested an RMA for the return of the item I had cancelled. I received an email confirm my request and informing me that I would a response in 48-72 hours. Since this was a Friday, I didn't count the time over the weekend. and figured I should hear from no later than the close of business on Tuesday 8/6 it they were going to make their commitment from the email. No response. I even sent them an email to the email address they specified to contact at 4:20 on 8/6 asking if I should expect a response soon. No response.
Customer service is clearly something that is non-existent in this company. If that is important to you as it is to me, then you should weigh this heavily in your decision to do business with them. I will not."

"I placed an order for the items listed as "in stock". I sent the ticket asking for the expedited delivery option. Since July 20, the order status said "ready to ship". After tons of phone calls and tickets sent we found out that the order was overlooked and it was siting in the wearhouse. Eventually after demanding to talk to the manager from the customer service the items were shipped on August 5. It holded up my whole renovation process and cost us lots of delays. I have another order in "backorder" with the home perfect and I was promised the items to be delivered within 3 weeks. Lets see what will happen. "

"Do Not Buy From HomePerfect! I have had a terrible time resolving issues. 1. They show an item as in-stock until you have paid and then you get an email saying it is on backorder for several weeks. 2. Phone support is terrible. The guy barely spoke English, kids and TV blaring in the background and he wanted my credit card # to look up my order. No way! 3. I am trying to return a faucet (in box-never installed) and they asked me to send photos of it. I did last week and have had no response. 3. I am trying to cancel all orders now as I do not trust this company. Another online company was happy to price-match HomePerfect. Stay away from this company."
