"We ordered a daybed from HomeElement, and were so satisfied with the product and service that we returned there a month later for a much larger purchase, a new dining room set.

The only glitches with the set were on the delivery end. As you can imagine, there were many boxes involved! One for the table, and one for each pair of chairs, for a total of four. To make a long story short, one set of chairs was badly damaged, one was missing, and then the missing one was found a bit later but Home Element replaced both and we had an extra set of chairs! Then the delivery company had to pick up the extra. That led to quite a bit of me having to be home for the delivery company. HomeElement was as helpful as could be but it was still a lot of nonsense to deal with. Add to that the fact that the delivery company could not bring the furniture into the house, much less set it up, and could only leave the items in our driveway. So if you are not into a little extra work and DIY, perhaps stick with a traditional full-service store. "

"Even though I frequently shop online I rarely write reviews. However, Homelement's service was so exceptional I just had to post something for those who may be reluctant to buy because the prices seem to be good from a retailer you may not have heard of before.

I was reluctant to order a big, bulky item from an unknown (at least to me) online retailer for fear that (a) my credit card info would be compromised or (b) the item would be late or damaged or not what I wanted. Nothing could have been further from the truth. The service was exceptional, including frequent e-mail updates for the order status. The delivery was even earlier than expected and the driver patient and courteous. The product was exactly as described if not better, and was a nearly perfect match to a bedroom set we bought almost 10 years ago.

This was my first time ordering furniture online, but I will definitely check Homelement in the future when I need more. After looking locally and finding nothing I looked online and found this product at a few online retailers. I chose Homelement because their price including shipping was the best (even better than my favorite online retailer with my Prime membership) and I am so glad I wound up with Homelement.

"I purchased a child's desk, two nightstands, and a queen size bed from Homelement in October 2013. Searching their site for the products I was looking for was very easy. The Kidcraft desk shipped the next day, there were no problems, and it was just as nice as the photos showed. Two days after my order, I received notice that the nightstand and bed would be delayed for about 15 days. Although I was disappointed, a few days later I got an email saying that it would ship sooner, only 10 days after my order.

The Coaster brand nightstand and bed are beautiful, just like the photos. I was looking for a Pottery Barn look-alike set for my child's room, and I feel I got great quality furniture for 1/3 of the price of a similar Pottry Barn set. There is nothing "cheap" about the furniture.

The only small concern I had was that when it was shipped freight, I understood that it was required that I be home to inspect and sign for the packages, in case there was any damage. However, the shipper just left the furniture on my front porch when nobody was home. Since there was no damage it worked out great, but if there had been a problem, there might have been trouble working it out. The furniture was packed very well to avoid damage.

I recommend Homelement and will look there again when I need to buy furniture. Much bigger selection and better price than any local furniture store."

"I had a great customer-service experience with Homelement. We purchased a set of bedroom furniture via their website. Once we got the shipment and opened the boxes, we discovered that one of the legs on the chest had broken off -- clearly a shipping issue. But I had failed to note any damage when I took the shipment, so the shipper denied the claim.

Homelement stepped in and offered to buy me a new chest ($549) if I paid the shipping cost ($195). Homelement was only the reseller -- not the manufacturer or the shipper -- so they really had no obligation to do anything for me. (And I had ignored their numerous messages that I need to inspect the shipment before signing anything, so I didn't really deserve anything from them either.) Their customer-service folks were helpful and pleasant through the entire process, as well.

So I'm not happy at all with the manufacturer (Homelegance) or the shipper (YRC), but I'm very grateful to Homelement for covering me. I'm sure they lost money on me. I figure the least I can do is leave them a good note and send some more business their way!"

"I could not be more please with the bedroom furniture I bought online from Homelement. The quality is exceptional, especially for the price. The dresser and nightstand came FULLY ASSEMBLED, and the headboard just needed the legs to be screwed on (and even the little tool for that was included). Everything was well-packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Also, their website is very user-friendly. "

"Working with Homelement was a very good experience. I was unsure if my tv would fit in the opening, and they took the time to contact the manufacturer and work with me on the measurements before I ordered. Once the product arrived, the delivery company did not want to put it together, even though Homelement advised me that the system would be fully installed. We had to go back and forth a bit to get the delivery company to complete the job, and they would not balance it or install the shelves. After the delivery company left, it took us another couple of hours to level the system, install the shelves, etc.. However, once it was finally complete, I was awed. The product is beautiful and Homelement was wonderful to work with. Lots of follow up on Homelement's part both before and after the product arrived, which was nice. Not the best experience with the delivery company, but I would still buy from Homelement again."

They were slow to respond via EMAIL, and our items took 5 weeks to arrive, when I contacted them MULTIPLE times to see what the delay was they were not helpful. I received conformation that my furniture was already in town and ready to be delivered and Homeland provided NO TRACKING INFO until the day it arrived in my town. They would not work with me on delivery as we were getting ready to go out of town the day it arrive and we had to drive an hour to go pick it up ourselves otherwise they said it would be shipped back. Very disappointed and will not order from homeland again. "
