"DO NOT order from this company. I ordered 200 cupcake picks for $20 with $7.20 shipping and handling. I received 12 plastic rings instead-the cost worked out to about $2.40 per ring. I contacted them to see about replacing with the correct product and never received a response. Their website says to ship the wrong product back to them at your expense and they will charge $.50 per item restocking fee. Very unhappy with both the product and the lack of customer service. "
"They didn't ship me part of my order and marked it on the invoice as discontinued. I tried to call and email them to get my money back for that item and NO response! Several attempts were made.... Eventually I had to open a claim with paypal and the amount was returned. This "discontinued" item is still on their website today. I highly do not recommend doing business with them but if you have to, use paypal... they offer some buyer protection. Total scam!"

"BUYERS BEWARE!!! We placed an order on the 19th of June and they collected their money on the 21st. A month later still no product. We started calling and e-mailing on the 5th of July with no response from this “company”, phone number just goes to voice mail. Called the Post Office where their PO Box is located and they said it has been "inactive" for several months with no forwarding address and couldn’t tell me the name of the responsible party for the PO Box. I filed a complaint with the Louisiana Attorney General's Office, the Postal Service, and YAHOO! ECommerce who hosts their webpage. I contacted my bank and they are in the process of disputing the charge. Don’t be fooled by their fancy webpage, this screams “SCAM”!"

What they did to me was not send items, would not return phone call.Only after I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charges, did they send one item. Then they were able to show my credit card company that they did indeed send the package. When in fact they didn't send everything! This is their way of getting around it and still getting their money! HUGE SCAM!!! BEWARE!!!"

"I have disputed the charge with this company. I have not received the products I ordered and am not willing to pay for a product, with priority shipping, that I did not receive. Hometown Celebrations' failure to respond to my email or phone inquiries as to the status of my order is unprofessional and just plain rude. I will never order from your company again and will be sure to let others know how poor their service is.
The products I ordered are for a fundraising event for a non-profit organization and every penny spent counts! As a result of your company's poor service and the non-delivery of my order, I will be forced to purchase these cupcake decorations at a much higher cost which ultimately affects how much money is raised for this already needy organization. Just for the record, I am a volunteer for this organization and not getting any compensation for the time or effort I contribute. The organization was planning to reimburse me for the cost of the cupcake picks but I feel terrible to let them know that the cost I quoted them is actually going to be doubled simply because the company I ordered from has failed to deliver the product I paid for.
Like many others who has posted their review on this site, I usually do research before buying from an online company but it was late on a Saturday night so I didn't, that is a huge regret of mine.
I made it clear via phone and email that I needed the products I ordered by today, November 19th for a fundraising event. Today is the day of the event, and I've haven't received my order or any communication as to the status of my order. The only communication I received was in a form of an email that stated that my ordered was "shipped via UPS Priority". However, there wasn't a tracking number, which should have been a red flag, in body of the email. I waited a couple days for my order to arrive to no avail.
DO NOT buy anything with this company. The money you save isn't worth the frustration.

I should have read the reviews before ordering, but because I was desparate for Miami Heat cup cake decorations, I went ahead and ordered without doing my homework. I paid for PRIORITY (2 DAYSSS!!!) on May 16th. It is now May 24th, 2011 and i have YET to receive my package. I have also tried calling and have left messages....NO CALL BACK. I am in the process of trying to get refunded but have a feeling my money will be waisted. SOMEONE PLEASE GET RID OF THIS WEBSITE!!!"
"5-18-11 I wish I would have read this company's reviews BEFORE trying to purchase something through their website! I found the perfect cake topper for my son's birthday cake. He loves Boston Celtics right now & I am having a friend make the cake like the picture, then was going to place the topper. I ordered it 3 days ago, priority shipping. It hasn't even shipped yet AND I've called for 2 days, left messages, left email messages, and No One has responded! Now, I will have a cake with the right colors, but No topper! "I bought an item and a week and half later received notification that the item was no longer available. It was already too late to order from someone else. This kind of customer service is horrible. The notification was not even apologetic. If an item is no longer available it needs to be removed from the website immediately, not a week and a half later."

One phone number posted on website is disconnected and the other go to full voicemail. Emailed several times to check order status. After giving up, emailed requesting refund since I could not get a response. Filed claim with credit card company also filed complaint with Better Business Bureau. Called Attorney General.
