"I placed an online parts order, went through fine, no issues. Few days later received a simple response that they don’t ship fluids, no other explanation. I checked the online account and saw the order had been cancelled. Okay so far but would have been nice to have been asked if I still wanted the remainder of my parts order…
Placed another order without fluids, received one email acknowledgment that the order had been received.
Five days later, having heard nothing, I began calling for status updates. Phone number on the order confirmation goes to voicemail, my messages went unanswered.
Only after looking up the direct number to the dealership, then being connected to the parts department was I able to find out that my parts had been on back order and would be sent out that day. Turns out this wasn’t correct either as they arrived later that afternoon.
Hoover may be fine to deal with in person but their online service is severely lacking.
Nothing really to resolve here as I did finally get what I needed but it’s not likely I’ll continue doing business here."
